As Chris Macbeth walks out of the MGM Grand hotel into the Las Vegas afternoon sun he turns and heads down the strip to the Planet Hollywood where he has a meeting scheduled with an old friend.

This place never ceases to amaze him, every visit he has a blast but this visit was very different this was business. He finally reaches the Planet Hollywood and heads around the miracle mile to Blondie's Sports bar and grill to where his meeting is to take place.

His netting hasn't arrived yet so Macbeth sits himself at the bar and orders a Corona looking up at the TV's showing the game.
Macbeth although originally for the UK really had taken to US life and sports. I think maybe it was the numerous trips he took with his family back in the UK which lead to him falling in live with the country or the old TV shows he used to watch, whatever it maybe Chris Macbeth had embraced the US life fully.

The hockey soon finishes and the barman turns the TV over to the weekly XWF wrestling round-up show. Macbeth thinks this odd and looks over to the barman how is looking down like he is minding his own business but you can see there is a smile on his face.

Macbeth turns back to the TV then quickly back to the barman catching the barman looking over at him.

CM: Hey can I get another drink?

The barman looking uneasy walks over with another Corona and hands it to Macbeth.

CM: You put that on for my benefit?

Macbeth points up to the TV as it shows the highlights of his match with Prophecy.

"What can I say... I'm a fan."

Macbeth continues to speak to the barman for a few minutes mainly about wrestling and music.

"Good to see you back in town"

Macbeth looked up to see his old friend has arrived stood in the doorway dressed smart in a suit with no tie and a smile on his face.

Macbeth: Ted Garrett.

Macbeth stands up to greet his old friend with a handshake.

Ted Garrett was a former Mixed Martial Artist in the UFC but has since moved away from the in ring duties even though you can see just by looking at him he is in top physical condition. He now promotes/manages young up and coming fighters all across the world.

Macbeth and Garrett sit down and order some food while having there conversation.

The contents of this conversation are blurry... It is Vegas after all.

A few hours later Macbeth and Garrett leave Blondies and out of the Planet Hollywood and back onto the strip walking back down to the MGM Grand where they have tickets for tonight's big fight.t.

Sometime later....

Sitting at ringside alongside Garrett.



CM: So your sure this is what you want?

TG: Hell Yes this is happening.


Macbeth smiles and nods his head.

TG: And it's happening now.

They both turn back to the next pair of boxes who are stood in the ring awaiting for the bell.

TG: So you up against Crimson Cobra Wednesday then?

CM: Yeah.

TG: So.... Should you really be running round Vegas with me.

Macbeth smiles

CM: I'll be fine, don't you worry about that., i'm not the Chris Macbeth I used to be and this Crimson Cobra shouldn't be any trouble.

TG: I don't worry.. Just eager to get started that's all.

CM: Well you will just have to wait... to get started.

TG: Yeah we'll see.

The evening of boxing finishes and Macbeth says his goodbyes to Garrett and then heads back to his room in the MGM via a couple of games on the slots.

We say a couple of games at the slots I think it was safe to say Chris Macbeth was sat in that Casino for a good few hours but hey "This is Vegas".

A couple of guys dressed smart looking like they are in town for a corporate event come a sit next to Macbeth chatting loudly about the big fight until one of them looks over then lowers his voice to his friend.

"Hey, That's Chris Macbeth."

Macbeth notices them both keep peaking over to him and decides he cannot be doing with all this tonight and gets up quickly and heading through the Casino to the elevators.

Flying back to Chicago in the early hours of the morning is going to be tough Macbeth thinks to himself as he lays on his bed and his eyes close for a couple of hours kip.

The scene fades to black.
