The jolt of the landing gears kicking in wakes Macbeth from his sleep. He looks out the window and see's Toronto easing into sight.
The captains voice can be heard over the radio going through all the generic drivel all captains do as they are prep airing for landing.
It looks cold out there.
His thoughts drift to his match on Wednesday night with Prophacy.
He knows he is going to have no problem with this match, he is annoyed of having to waste time in a match like this, his aim has always been the top and he feels matches like this are just irritating obstacles in his way.
That being said these obstacles will be moved and he will succeed in becoming the best this business has ever seen.
The plane touches down and taxi's around the runway to the gate. As Macbeth steps of the plane and into the terminal there is a group of wrestling fans stood waiting to collect there bags. Macbeth has a photo taken with them while he waits for his bag.
About 15 mins later Macbeth walks out of the airport and onto the sidewalk.
Macbeth: Ground floor Canada.
Macbeth had arranged to be collected from the airport and as planned his lift shows up and he jumps into the back seat of the cab.
Macbeth advises the cabbie the name of the hotel he needs dropping at then begins to make the standard customer to cabbie chit chat as the car pulls away from the sidewalk.
Macbeth: So have you been busy?
Cabbie: Not to bad.
Macbeth: What time you on till?
Cabbie: Just another couple of pick ups. I'll be heading back to the airport once I have dropped you off.
Macbeth: Ah not to bad the?
Cabbie: No and the roads are pretty clear today for a change, not sure what that's all a boot.
Macbeth grins, trying to suppress a laugh. Ever since he has been in America all he has head from the people is that Canadians say aboot instead of about. That gives him an idea.
Cabbie: So why you in town. Holiday?
Macbeth: Nah work, I'm a wrestler.
Cabbie: XWF?
Macbeth: Yeah, gotta show here Wednesday.
Cabbie: Yeah I know my son wanted tickets but its all sold out.
Macbeth: Yeah I know.. Probably because I'm wrestling.
The cabbie looks at Macbeth through the rear view mirror probably think what and arrogant douche this is I have in the back of my car.
Macbeth begins to get bored with the conversation so pics up his phone to make a call.
Macbeth: Yeah I just landed in Toronto.......... It's cold yeah............. No, just going to get a bite to eat then probably have early night............... I know shouldn't be any problem......... No I'm not nervous......... What you mean your thinking of trying out......... What ..........in wrestling, are you mad?
The phone conversation with the unknown person continue for a further 10-15 mins.
A short time later the pull up outside the hotel and Macbeth chucks some cash at the driver and jumps out the car with his bag and walks into the hotels reception.
Macbeth looks around the reception. It's I'd a very luxurious place all solid oak furniture, a roaring fire in the corner throws out an almost perfect blast of heat if there is such a thing.
Macbeth: I have a room booked.
Hotel receptionist: What name is that Sir.
Macbeth states his name and all other information the receptionist needed before she eventually hands him a key and he makes his way up to his room.
Once there he opens his suit case up on the bed searching through it for is wash bag, he pulls out a t-shirt and hangs it over the back of a chair. Before head for a shower. The water was hot, it relaxed him after his long day traveling. His thoughts drift off again to his match on Wednesday then quickly back to the phone call he had in the cab earlier. Was Ted really going to try out at wrestling? Trying to picture it in his head Macbeth finished his shower.
Sometime later Macbeth decides to give Ted a call.
Macbeth: Ted,... I Maybe able to help you.
Scene fades as Macbeth lounges in his hotel room deep in conversation with this Ted.
