Prelog

Defeat is only a loss if not taken advantage of. If you are to lose in any competition you must take anything that you possibly can that is positive out from it. The only way to get better is to compete with better opponents and learn for their mistakes as well as your own. Like lightning most mistakes don’t happen twice in one place but they have for the unfortunate Crimson Cobra. Two mistakes, two losses, two too many in his thoughts. No man likes to lose and no man likes to lose multiple times in a row. The dedication starts to fade, the smile breaks, everything that was once looked at as an uphill climb has become a straight down drop to rock bottom… and not the MR. XWF rock bottom that screwed Crimson Cobra out of the number one contender spot on Monday nights either, just plain old regular rock bottom! But there is one good thing that can happen from here, once the rock is hit there is no more room for falling, no more drops no area of failing. If you are to fail you stay on the rock that is at the bottom of all things and if you don’t fail you move up, continuing on that road back to success. This becomes a one way road and if you’re not moving then you’re not trying! A single loss is enough to break most superstars spirits, but two in a row seems like it would be enough to tell someone that this might not be what they are cut out for, it’s too bad for Neil Capra that this isn’t true in the state of Crimson Cobra’s mind. Crimson Cobra is a stone headed man who finds ways to win for a loss. If you are to truly believe you lost then that is it, that is all you will get out of it, but Cobra finds a way to take the loss and at the very least make himself 1% better from it. In recent events he has gotten 56% better. Last week on Monday night he was in a singles competition and he was able to pull off a seemingly easy victory, it was the triple threat cage match where he failed to capitalize.

-A clip from the past Monday begins to play-

Mr. XWF caught Davis with a shot to the groin! Davis loses his grip on Cobra who dangles at the top of the cage. Davis falls to the mat below in obvious pain. Mr. XWF stares at Cobra. Cobra stares back. Cobra wiggles himself back over to the outside of the cage. He looks at Davis on the mat. Then to Mr. XWF beginning to climb the cage. Then to the floor...

SS: "CRIMSON COBRAS ABOUT TO WIN THIS THING!"

LW: "JUST FALL YOU IDIOT!"

SS: "HE'S GOING BACK IN!"

XWF reaches the top and...

CRACK

Kick to the side of the head of XWF from Cobra and he falls to the mat but lands on his feet! Cobra climbs to the top of the cage from the outside. He stands on the cage eyeing up Craig Davis...

HE LEAPS, BURST OF FLAMES as he's in mid-air!

RED FANG from the top of the cage and narrowly escaping the flames! He lands the move hard onto Craig Davis!
-The Clip stops showing Crimson Cobra connect with the RED FANG onto Crag Davis-

This match up helped Crimson Cobra improve 17% Why would you just pick some random number like 17? This is based upon the caliber of the opponents, the moves attempted in the match up, the moves connected with in a match up, and the good and bad choices made in this match. 17% reflects some very good things that have happened. Cobra was able to connect with the RED FANG off of the top of the cage… That being said that is also why the number is so low because he jumped of the damn cage onto one of the two opponents, not the smartest idea, instead of winning the match. His opponent Craig Davis is going to be competing with Jeffery Nero Hardy this coming Monday now instead of himself to be challenging for that championship, and yet again it is Crimson Cobra’s specialty match a ladders match. Now there are many things left to be said here, one the fact of Craig Davis defeating Neil Capra in his qualifying match and two how close Crimson Cobra was to defeating Crag Davis. The facts here stacking into Crimson Cobra’s corner, Crimson has faced more top level opponents then his counterpart this week, being Neil, and with thus comes more experience. Continuing back to the percentage of Crimson’s improvement, If you are to take away seventeen from fifty-six you would get THIRTY-NINE! That’s right in the match up against living legend and complete PRICK Mark “Fucking” Flynn, Crimson Cobra was able to pull off a 39% improvement. The match proved that Crimson can and will continue to hang with the best of them as what he hopes he is known as now a “top-to-mid level performer”. Crimson Cobra was about to hit the RED FANG on MARK FUCKING FLYNN! This goes to show you that with the proper dedication anyone can rise to an occasion. Now that being said, don’t get me wrong Crimson did fail in the attempt of collecting the gold, but as a rookie in the company with less than five matches under his belt competing against a champion like that has to do some good! Crimson Cobra is being placed, along with his tag team partner Crimson Deadly into a fatal four way match up to determine the number one contender of Wednesday nights, now this is another opportunity he can NOT let slip through his fingers…
But until late Monday Night after the show is over all he will be focused on is defeating Neil Carpa!

Locker Room

A spine-tingling chill is felt throughout the room as the door slams shut. Defeat fresh in the mind of an angered Cobra. He was just unable to strike precisely as the cobra do, unable to target his prey, unable to think clearly now with only one word echoing in his head.

Loss…

You Lost!

YOU LOST AGAIN!!!

Crimson Cobra is franticly power walking around his locker room trying to figure out what happened, what could have made this happen. He made the mistake of cross bodying Tyrone, and then all he remembers is being lifted into the air before waking up and seeing Mark Flynn holding the United States championship high above his head. A snake would pounce on this opportunity to attack an unsuspecting Mark Flynn, but right then and there the cobra was nowhere to be found. Crimson Cobra rolled out of the ring and sat back against the steel steps that his head was bouncing off of earlier. He rested his head against it holding his ribs with one hand and his neck with the other. Eyes squinted in pain and misery not from the moves that had happened but from realizing that it was his second loss in a matter of one week.

You’ve got to stop.

A voice of reason came from Crimson Cobra’s head this time. He was getting to think positive, He was trying to get his mind to stop racing, to stop thinking, to break down and just stop working altogether.

Victory or loss a match in the past stays in the past! Work on what you know you did wrong and do them right next time.

A word from former mentors and teachers rang through Crimson Cobra’s head. A way of making someone feel better after a loss is how Crimson saw these sentences, but they did seem to help. Thinking of what you did wrong, too much, not enough done correctly? Many questions but only one fact, this match was now in the past and pointless to carry thought that may affect next week’s performances.

But if I could have just beaten Mark Flynn…. Crimson Cobra would never be looked at the same again. All I had to do was land the RED FANG and cover, I mean he was on a ladder for fucking Christ sake!

The thoughts obviously still dwelling in his mind, something that will be quite difficult for the snake to just shake off. He stops storming around his locker room and begins to gather his things, ready to be out of the Wednesday night locker room in the Toyota Center for the night. Everything is in his suitcase and he zips it tightly shut. Grabbing the handle to the bag he takes off, out of the room and down the hallway. He sees a man walking up to him, this man looks very familiar and is that the United States championship over his shoulder? The man stops in front of Crimson Cobra he is smiling and waiting. Cobra is confused and cocks his head slightly to the side, one of his eyebrows furrow and he shows the confusion on his face.

“Ummm Mark Flynn? Since when do you smile?”

The man that Crimson is looking at is now confused he begins to speak and Crimson Cobra starts to come back into reality seeing that this was a backstage worker and not the man who had just defeated him. A large reflective piece of equipment hanging over his shoulder with and American flag on it…

“God damn it! I am going crazy now, this loss is getting to me too much! I gotta get out of here.”

“But Crimson Cobra, We need you to report to the doctor after that blow to your head!” The backstage worker yells as Crimson Cobra runs off. The man now knows that Crimson must have a concussion because out of the words he just said other than slurring and made up words all he got was “I am going crazy now”.

Crimson Cobra trying to escape his own mind still, knows that he won’t be able to stop thinking about losing. If there was one thing in this world he hated more than anything else it was a LOSER! They don’t win, “I don’t win” he thinks to himself. “I can’t win?” Now questioning his thoughts having a conversation with himself. He stops running around as he is confronted again but this time he is able to see the man and not mistake him for Mark Flynn. The man holding his finger up to his ear piece so that he can hear more clearly motions for Crimson to come closer. He does so and the man pulls his hand away from his ear piece.

“Crimson Cobra I was just told to inform you that you are being scheduled on Monday night Madness against Neil Capra in a two of three falls match up!”

Crimson nods and turns away from the man. Neil Capra? The guy who got beat by Craig Davis? He is going to be the victim of the angriest most dangerous cobra yet? When you back a snake into a corner there is only one place it can go, much like when you hit rock bottom, the snake will be forced to take action and pounce onto whomever it may be attempting to trap the snake. A Cobra in the corner will spit venom onto its prey to weaken it and deliver the final strike, the death blow, in this case… THE RED FANG.

“Neil Capra, you will be my opponent on Monday, you will be facing the most enraged cobra that anyone has ever seen! I will do as Mark Flynn had said and I will shed my skin, I am only doing this to get a new aspect on life, a new aspect on how and what I should do. I am still in the midst of getting Flynn off my mind, but who wouldn’t be after they came as close as I did?! Neil I want to promise you something…. A snake filled with the Crimson rage as I am will never let you go free without feeling the unmistakable pain of TRF. What’s TRF? Why it is The Red Fang of course, I will let all of the anger that is consuming me, and all of the pain that is thriving off of that loss out when I am able to bite you with another Red Fang!”

Crimson’s mind seems to have refocused, but for how long? He turns away again and talks off towards the parking lot where he looks to head for home after this embarrassment of a loss tonight!

The Home of the Cobra

A queen sized bed lay against the wall of a bedroom. Nightfall is upon us and the alarm clock on the night stand next to the bed reads 3:33 A.M.

Crimson Cobra is sitting up in bed, his back leaned on the headboard of the bed, one arm crossed to support the other that is slightly massaging his head as well as holding his head up. His eyes blinking every so often when needed and his thoughts racing again just as they were the night of Wednesday Night Warfare.

Cobra couldn’t sleep; he couldn’t rest, knowing that he had a match in now four days after losing two matches in a row he knew something had to change but what? His diet was perfect, workout regimen tip-top shape. It was the weaknesses, they are what he knew he needed to work on but how? Cobra sat up later than most nights just pondering how to get better, how to go from that one Crimson guy to his own person?

How to let the Cobra out and show everyone that Crimson Cobra doesn’t need to rely on other guys to finish the job for him. Shed the skin, he said it in his own words and yet he didn’t even know how to do it, or what he really meant by this. A new crimson cobra had to come out of this, with a sixty percent win rate out of five matches that isn’t what Cobra was looking for at all when joining the XWF, he wanted to be the very best and prove everyone wrong.

He was headed for the top but now that he has the time to think about it perhaps the chance was too soon? Maybe if he can defeat Neil and prove that he does deserve that spot maybe he will be able to compete with a man such as Jeff Hardy the European Champion! Maybe with a win over Neil he will have the momentum to win the fatal four way match that he has been placed in? Maybe he will start that climb of the winners ladder yet again! It’s a chance he is willing to take!

A victory is just too sweet of a sound right now to pass up any chance. Crimson Cobra yearns for greatness and the only thing he finds that satisfies this urge would be to add another victim to the list of the
poisoned!

• Trash
• El Chico Blanco
• Cassius Stone
• Benjamin Crane
• Bryan King

These names represent the poisoned, those who have been defeated by the Cobra and an even more exclusive group who have been bitten by the red fang include someone named Craig Davis who actually has a win over the cobra. A name will be added to both list’s come the end of Monday night, Crimson Cobra will fly high above the ring and splash down onto Neil with a Red Fang sending him back to Detroit where he came from!

Looking to the clock it is now four twenty A.M. a whole hour has passed of nothing but thinking, no movement no talking just the mind of a slithering serpent sliding along as fast as it possibly can! He looks at the clock again and a smirk crosses his face, 4:2 is all he sees and thinks about his new record after Monday and how it will have raised to a better looking, better feeling 4 wins.
