Heyyy Johnnnny boy...wake your ass up

The sound of a unknown individual can be heard piercing through the ears of a sleeping John Austin. He wakes up in his bed with such quickness it is amazing he didn't fall right out. He looks over at Christine Nash and wonders if it was her but she is laying flat on her chest, passed the fuck out. How does John know this? cause she is snoring so loud it sounds amplified so he knows it wasn't her.

He gets up out of bed and walks over to the bathroom quietly. He shuts the door and turns on the light near the sink. He hears the strange voice once more, so he runs the faucet and splashes some cold water on his face to try and snap out of it. He raises his head back up to the mirror and sees a sharply dressed individual standing next to him. He wears a black suit, his hair is greased back and has a million-dollar smile.

Good morning sunshine, I am glad you finally heard me talking to you.

John turns around and faces this individual. A look of surprise and concern grows upon the face of Austin as he knows who this individual is

What do you want now? I am trying to sleep and now you come visit me in the middle of the night. In my bathroom no less?

Well John, I have to tell you something, you have always been my favorite. Ever since day damn one you were brought into this crazy universe, I looked at Jesus and said "Let me take him under my wing" haha

Very cute. If I had any fucks to give right now, I would. So unless you actually have something important to tell me, I am going back to bed

John turns around and goes to open the door. He tries to turn the handle but he burns his hand on it. He puts his hand in his mouth to try to ease the burn as you hear the unknown man laughing uncontrollably.

You can't be that damn stupid John, come on now. I actually have something important to tell you, so have a seat.

John sits down on the floor as we see the man sit atop of the counter near the sink..

I came to warn you John. You see, you are something special. When you signed your name on the dotted line, I told you I would make all your dreams come true. You wanted the wealth, the power, the fame well you got it and now everyone is gunning after you harder than before. I must admit, it took some pretty big balls to go after Eli James like you did but damn it, you did it and I am proud of you. But you need to understand, Smoke-Man and Mystica have their sights on you. I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull a fast one on you and take you out of the picture for a while

Listen..John extends his hands out and shakes his head ..All those people I took out, I did it. Remember Matt Lennox? or what about Alexandra Callaway? ..I brought them to your place on a silver platter. I think I can handle Smoke and Mystica on my own. You know I can get the job done when the deck is stacked against me like it is

Don't think I am not grateful John cause I am. You serve me well but since this little issue arised in my office the other day, I took out a little insurance policy on you. If things happen to go down how I think they may go down, well don't worry because backup is there if you happen to need it..

Whoa whoa! backup? what do you mean backup? who do you have watching my back?

When the time comes, you'll know. Strangely enough, I actually have come to respect this kid even though he is very odd in some forms

Well whoever this is, you tell you this man, if I get placed into a corner that I can't get out of cause of Smoke and Mystica then by all means I want his help but NOT UNTIL

John slowly reaches out and opens the door. He goes to walk out of the bathroom and back to the bed but quickly stops. He goes to turn around to say one more thing but finds the individual gone. John shakes his head and laughs to himself. He goes back down on the bed and heads off to sleep.
