A large bell is being rung early in the morning as people make their way to work. Around this close-together little town is a very large cathedral. It has a few gold markings around it and lion statues near the front of the building. Several people are seen walking from inside and some are seen walking inside. It's quiet inside for most the part. You can hear the footsteps of people as they walk to a pew and wait for the priest to take them to the secure little room to make their daily confessions. Echoing through the room is a familiar voice..

"People. Heh. A funny creation. They go to and fro throughout the world looking.. searching.. needing something to feel the void in their life. The most obvious choice that looks at them everyday.. they choose to ignore. It's no wonder why they are lost and cannot defend for themselves. They are like mice in a maze trying to find the cheese, but keep running into walls. On and on you go.. ya smell it.. you think you're gettin' close but all you are is turning around and heading back to where ya start. Stuck in a repeated cycle and eventually.. ya give up.. and settle for anything but the one thing that will fix it all.

Here they are. Talkin' to a man who is supposedly the mediator between them and the Almighty. The priest gets to hear all the juicy gossip and hold sins over any individual he wants. The priest can forgive with a hallow return, but cannot forgive from the Almighty's perspective. It just makes the who telling all their gossip and sins feel a little better about themselves. Once the transaction is complete, then off they go.. back into their world.. and ready to sin again.

Their confession wasn't repentance. It was a feel good moment to let it all out. It was to tell someone they can supposedly trust, who says he's Almighty's representative, and think when he takes his final breath.. he makes it to heaven. Heh. Confession isn't repentance. Confession may make you right with a individual, but doesn't clean the root of wickedness inside you. It doesn't make you right with Almighty. It's a game they wanna play.

And each day they gather together to hear one of those priests share about the good book.. they place money in the offering.. ah.. another feel good moment. Surely, Almighty sees your confession and giving money to 'his' church. It gives them all a false hope. It's setting the mouse free in the maze and letting him smell the cheese.. letting them try his best to get there on his own.. but eventually just fails. It's a endless maze.

Confessions can be heard, but not clear. Men and women are in the rooms.. letting it all out to the priests ears.. the sins they've committed.. the treason that's been done. There is something I must do to fix at least one person.

Walking into a confession booth myself.. I kneel before the little window and await the fun chat we're about to have.

"(making sign of the Cross with hand motion) In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."

"Bless me father, for I have sinned. I've never made a confession to you before.

"That's alright, my son."

"Are toys a sin?

"I'm sorry?"

"Toys.. sin?

"Heh. No. Toys are not sin."

"So, then it is okay to toy with someones mind and heart, father?

"Oh. I thought you meant toys like things you would buy someone as a gift. "

"Is cannibalism a sin, father?

"Yes. Have you.."

"You believe in somethin' called transubstantiation.. where the communion elements become the actual blood and flesh of Jesus Christ, and you say cannibalism is a sin?

"I don't have time for this. "

"You'll sit and listen. Or you'll die.

"Very well. Say what you wish then please leave."

"You claim to have power over the eternal. You sit there and listen to people spill out their sins and you don't even have the power to forgive them. You do it all in the name of the Almighty whom you have never seen.. never heard.. and never really known. You sit in a puddle of your own filth and think you're perfectly clean. Just because they are covered in mud and you only have a few spots on ya doesn't make you clean and them dirty.. you all are dirty. If you are the representative of the Almighty and can forgive sins, then please turn water into wine. Tell me.. when was the last time you went on the street to help a homeless person begging for something to eat? Ya know what the good book says? What ya do to the least.. ya do to the Almighty. When ya feed someone starving.. you're feeding the Almighty. So why turn a deaf ear to help those who really represent Almighty and open your ears to enjoy the garbage?

You're hearing all of this and it's just burning up inside. You have no answers. No reply. You know I'm right and there's nothin' you can do to prove otherwise. You chose to ignore the truth and settled for fun.

One who really represents Almighty is helping the needy.. the hurting.. the blind.. and what do you do? Sit and listen to filth! You are all a brood of vipers with your mouths tied up.

You are blind leaders with a great following. Your words are not above Almighty's or even the same level. They are beneath. His word is final and his judgment is coming.

You remind me of someone named Billy.

"How do you know my name?"

"Grew up in a little down in Minnesota. Watching the television.. hoping to one day be an actor.. and a teacher told you you're not good enough and to find another profession. You settled in. You followed a deceitful heart. A death awaits you.

"How do you know all of this?"

"See ya soon. Confession is over.

Billy tried his best to get me to reveal how I knew so much about him. He knew, but just didn't want to believe it. Just like the mouse in the maze. You wanna believe you'll get to the end and satisfy the stomach.

I walk outside with a big grin on my face while Billy goes back with a confused mind. The sun beaming down upon my face, thanks to the Almighty. It's time to address some things while I enjoy the stroll among the sinful area.

"A lot of questions have been circling me ever since my arrival.. and even more as I've lost in matches with a team. The word goin' around is I'm silent since The Congregation lost to the Wildcard team. Heh. Was it a loss? Or was it a victory?

Ya know what would have happened if we had won the Trio Titles match? Not a whole lot except we would have more material possessions among us. Peter, Soldier, and Feder were Trio Champions for a long time and have you heard much about their cause or what's going to happen? Nah. It was just a wasted piece of gold that someone wanted to claim as a champion. If we won the Trio Titles... nothin' much would've been said except things like, 'we knew the Congregation would win'.

What have I been sayin' for quite some time? It's about the message spreading.

We lost and now what? People are talkin' about The Congregation.. about Eli James.. about the message I've been speaking. You see it as a loss but I see it as a victory. The message is being talked about more with the loss than it would have been with a win.

Purpose.

I'm here for a purpose. It's not happening the way you would have planned it.. the way you would think it working.. but my ways are not your ways nor my thoughts your thoughts.. they are higher. The truth never rests whether I'm here or not. The message never goes into hibernation. The reality is win or lose in your eyes.. the message always wins. It's the victory that counts.
