Great Buzzard Eli James IV · (09-26-2013)

The rain is pouring down from the heavens to the Earth. It's stopped several outdoor activities at The Promise Land and some much needed work. Eli summons everyone to gather together inside an old church building that's on the property to a special service.

The people come in a bit wet. Some trying to shake off the water from their umbrella, and a few removing their jackets that covered their head during the run to the church. Eli sits in a chair on the stage as people make their way in and find a seat. People start talking among themselves, but once every has found a seat, Eli stands up to interrupt the chatter.

Eli James IV "My dear brothers and sisters. I've asked you all here today to watch what has unfolded with my upcoming opponents in a match.

Eli begins to show some video clips about what they've said about him or his Congregation, as well as, past matches they've had including their recent failed win tag team match. Following the video clips, Eli stands behind a podium with some papers in his hands.

Eli James IV "This little fearful boy has made some strong remarks about me. Heh. He's said I've told nothin' but lies to you all. He's said that everything I say or do is lies.. and you all are believers in it.

The people start turning to one another in disbelief and start talking down to Cam Lang's words.

Eli James IV "I've asked the boy to speak what lies I've told.. and here is what the 'extreme revolutionist' Cam Lang had to say..

Because we all live here and live in harmony.. it makes all my words lies. We live in a world where rights and wrongs don't exist? Heh. Let me just stop right there. He's heard of me for a short time and he thinks he knows about my world. He thinks he knows all about us and my preachin' because he's heard it all..

Eli points at the back.

Eli James IV "Make sure you record this and send it off.

Let me just give you some quick lessons, man. Right and wrongs exist. They exist out in your world.. and they even exist here. The flesh we live in isn't saved, but only the soul is redeemed.. for now. I don't take away rights or freedoms from anyone. If they choose to leave, then I'll open the gate and let them venture out into the darkness. I've never stopped a person from leavin'. In fact, when I do find one among us who is playin' with the devils keys.. I end it. I'm a protector of those who wish to follow the light.. and to those who wish to disobey are welcome to do as they please. I'm not a babysitter of any person.. I'm just the speaker of truth.

My truth welcomes many.. and turns away even more. For those who do wrong here.. I correct it. A father who doesn't correct or discipline his children for doing wrong is not a loving father at all.. just a man with death behind his eyes. Just because you don't hear about things doesn't mean they don't happen. I'm a shepherd who loves his sheep. I protect. I discipline and correct. I am the great divide from truth and error.. from reality and fiction.. the measuring rod of right and wrong.

I lift the worries of those who follow me as best as I can because I am the shepherd of truth. Does a child who has been here since age 4 worry that her parents won't come back for her? Yes. Does a man worry that death won't sweep him up before he sees his first child born? Yes. But I am here for them to cast all that worry.. I am here to carry the load... NOT to be a hero.. but to be a man of my word... to be the protector of my people.

I don't speak with persuasive words like others do. My words are truth and backed up by power. That, my boy, is the difference.

Death exists here just like it does out there. Sickness exists here just like it does out there. We look beyond the temporary for our salvation. We look to the eternal Almighty. It is the line in the sand between my world and the world out there.

Here.. I provide. I give everyone a job to do.. and in return they have shelter.. food.. help. They have a loving father who watches over them.

Ya see, Cam.. I don't believe in heroes.. so don't think me issuing a challenge was to be that. What I do believe is I am the hand of justice by the Almighty. I am to right the wrongs. I am here to call people out on their lies and open everyone's eyes. Some reject, and some follow. My job is not to force, but to open the gate for whoever will enter. Heroes don't exist. What you call heroes.. I call them people who are doin' the good work.

The challenge I gave wasn't to be a hero. It was to give you an opportunity. You, and the rest of your revolution boys talk about making an impact.. starting a change.. yet you lose a shot at your precious materialistic titles. Dr. Jones and Elisha defeated you.. there's no need for any "hero" to arise unless you need one to save ya from the defeat.

You lost. Yet you managed to make an excuse for it. You say Mystica is wise and Dr. Jones is intelligent, but with the same breath say they are ignorant by following me. Those 'ignorant' followers defeated you and Jason.

I laid the challenge for a handicap match and you chose not to accept. That, man, is a rejection. Your response to my challenge was 'you're not invincible.. just a sad excuse for a man'. That was a rejection with some stumbling words made in fear. Just like you had an excuse on why you lost the tag match.. you make an excuse to explain you never said 'no' to my challenge.

You said, "When I faced you Alexandra a couple weeks back, I take blame for that loss whether Troy was involved or not, I could not take the two of you on." ... again the excuse you try to cover up by sayin' you're not makin' one.

You said you take the blame for the loss.. that's not an excuse. But then here it comes.. the excuse... "I COULD NOT TAKE THE TWO OF YOU ON". Ah, there it is. Ya'll good folks see it?

People start laughing and shouting 'Amen!'

Eli James IV "I lay the challenge to take TWO of you on in a match.. the thing you said you couldn't do with me and Alexandra.. and there wasn't a 'yes'. Were you afraid of what might happen? Hehehe.

Ya see, Cam.. I don't have to accuse you of any lies you say.. the lies accuse you before I ever open my mouth to expose them.

Are ya'll ready for a good sermon?
