Steve Sayors: "Hello XWF! I am here again with Shawn Hero. Shawn, how does it fele to win again this week?"

I took a sip of my Aquafina water bottle and placed the bottle on the ground, gargling the water in my mouth.

It was two days after Warfare, and I was being interviewed by one of XWF's interviewers, Steve Sayors. I swallowed the water and smirked slightly at Steve.

"It feels good, Steve.. Feels good."

Steve: "What were you thinking prior to the match and what are your thoughts about it now?"

"Honestly, going into the match, I had one thought in mind.. to win. I knew that those guys would be no competition, I mean come on. We have one guy who no one knows anything about and then this other new guy who just walks in here and gets a championship.. Sad thing is, he probably had to get the belt readjusted just so it could fit around his waist. Sure, he's big, but the dude was a joke. And you know what.. I'm tired of facing these jokes. I've proved that I'm the next best thing around here. I've proved that I'm no joke. Two back-to-back triple threat match victories proves just that. I'm the read deal. Facing these amateurs isn't going to cut it anymore!"

I felt the anger rising, and I didn't even try to stop it. I was tired and aggravated. I was being thrown into matches with chumps. It wasn't doubted that I would win, but where is the fun in that? I wanted a match that would push me to my full potential, a match that would make me give my all to win.

Steve: "I'd just like to point out that all the members of the roster aren't really amateurs because-"

"Shut up, Steve! Those guys I faced-they're trash. The majority of Warfare is trash. I need competition."

Steve: "It sounds like you might get the competition you've been looking for."

My eyebrows perked up in curiosity.

"Why do you say that?"

Steve: "Next week, you're booked in a match with Steve Davids."

As the words escaped his lips, a wide grin crept unto my face. Steve Davids, a man who was no stranger to the ring, would definitely provide me with the challenge I was searching for. My heart nearly leaped out of my chest in joy.

Seeing my excitement, Sayors went in, with a smile on his face.

Steve: "What are your thoughts about this matchup between you and Steve Davids?"

"I think it's about time I got some real competition around here. He's definitely not one of these chump amateurs around here, the guy can fight."

Steve: "What are you going to do to prepare for this match?"

I chuckled a bit at the question before bursting out into full laughter.

"Steve, these last two weeks have been my preparation. I guess Witasick thought that throwing me in the ring with two chumps would prepare me for a pro.. and maybe he was right. Anyway, I'm going to do what I do. Keep training."

Steve: "You're not going to take different measures of preparation for this match?"

"Why would I? This match will end the same way as my past two matches have.. With my hand raised in victory."

Steve: "Right. Last question. Is there anything you want to say to Davids?"

I turned and faced the camera. All the playfulness in my voice and face had vanished and all that was left was a cocky, mocking smirk and an overly-arrogant tone.. -Classic Shawn Hero.

"Davids, you've seen my past two matched. You've seen how I can handle two opponents.. But this week, I only have one. It's you and me, man. If you think that the skill levels of my past opponents is anything even the slightest bit close to mine, you are sadly mistaken my friend. I've seen you, I've watched you in action. You're going to give me a challenge, I know.. And I'm ecstatic. But don't think for one second that I won't give you one. You're going to be in for one [bleep] of a fight.. and watch out.. If you're not careful.."

I nodded my head and the lights in the room suddenly went out, and the only visible things in the room are the whites of my eyes. I chuckled a bit as I stared into the camera. I finally closed my eyes, leaving the view in the camera pitchblack as I uttered the last word of my message to Davids.

"..Blackout."
