The scene opens to an old church on the outskirts of Calgary, Alberta. A shadowy figure we recognize as Ambrogio sits in the corner perched up in one of the church pews. The only light is a large rack of candles on the far side of the room, casting a number of shadows in the dim light. Only Ambrogio's face can be seen, covered in the usual red and black face paint. Cameras zoom in on Ambrogio as he begins to speak.
AMBROGIO: Here we are again, another day off the clock that expires for some. For me it is just another day on this god forsaken earth. The XWF has witnessed the likes of Ambrogio only but once. And only for but a moment. No one has seen what I am capable of, and chances are they are not ready for it. I am the goosebumps that cover your skin in the dark, I am the hair that shoots up on the back of your neck when you are afraid. I am that empty feeling in your stomach, when you are nervous. I am Ambrogio.
It has been brought to my attention that I am scheduled to compete this Saturday, and my opponent, Caius. Another name that the XWF has yet to see, at least that is my understanding. The poor bastard gets stuck with me for his first match. I should make quick work of him. I can almost guarantee he has never witnessed, much less faced off with someone like me. He will not match my strength, he will not match my speed. But most importantly, I am getting hungry. We are drawing dangerously close to feeding time, and it sounds as though Caius is going to be the unlucky victim.
For those who witnessed my first match. You may be asking yourself why I left before the match had concluded. I was there to simply have my first taste of blood, in an XWF ring. Rebel Star barely snuck away from that match with her life. Jon Willis escaped with the victory, but also was lucky to walk out of that ring breathing. I have lived far too long to care about a win loss record, I am not here for bragging rights. I am here to decimate, and eliminate the roster one name at a time. So win or lose, it makes no difference to me. As long as my thirst is quenched, that is all that matters to me.
Ambrogio stands up and walks over towards the front door of the church. He opens it, and proceeds outside. He pauses for a moment to look back into the camera lens.
AMBROGIO: I have seen some of the creatures the XWF has to offer. Unknown Soldier, Morbid Angel, Ghost Tank, Shade.... None of them will even compare to my unhuman abilities. And none of them will match my ferocity and intensity. This is just the beginning, I am sure those names will be addressed more thoroughly in the weeks to come. For now lets just focus on Caius. Seeing as though I have no clue who he is or what he stands for, I will cut this short. Saturday night will be here soon enough and we will see whether he is able to walk out of that ring alive, let alone a victory.
See you all on Saturday.
Ambrogio takes off running, and with a blink of the eye he is out of the cameras sight. The scene fades to black
