The camera fades in to the Mansion of Mastermind, and it finds him sitting in his chair, facing the wall.

"John Black. I need you to know that you cost me a place in the Inaugural Intercontinental Championship Tournament and now you must pay. How did you cost me a place in the tournament I hear you ask? By calling me out and saying you wanted the match with me that we've talked about for this coming Wednesday. The moment you did that, was the moment we both lost our chances for that tournament.

"I spoke to Warfare Management to see what their decision was about and was told because you and I agreed to a match we forfeited our place in the Tournament. Well thank you very much John Black, thank you very much indeed. Now I have to wait my turn to get a match for the Intercontinental Championship. Maybe I could use my one and only open challenge that I received as a reward for winning Superstar of the Month for the month of November, wait for the Champion to be crowned, and then challenge him when I see him opt in on the board.

"What's the problem I hear you ask again? Man you ask too many questions. The problem is I would have wasted that one and only opportunity, and maybe just maybe it might not be a waste, that's for me to decide."

Mastermind turns his chair around to face the camera.

"So if you think you were hard done by JB, may I call you JB? Well tough I'm calling you JB. If you think you were hard done by then think again. I don't know much about you, that's probably why I'm going to keep this promo brief, and wait for you to respond, but you are in my cross hairs. Just like Tommy Gunn is on Monday Night.

"Tommy Gunn is a bully. Do I consider you a bully? No not yet, depending on how your first promo pans out.

"I'm currently on a 3 match winning streak. That's good for me at the moment, because I know what a losing streak of 10 losses in a row feels like, so 3 matches on the good side feels like top of the world. But you don't know what that is like. Because just like Tommy and a few others you waltz in here when you feel like it, decide to enter a match, and then you are gone again for weeks at a time.

"I despise people like that. Yes I understand they have a life. Yes I understand that their life takes precedence, but the wrestling world is not all fun and games. I am busting my gut week in week out because I enjoy the XWF. You enjoy taking time off and playing your games of challenging people when you feel like it. Then going back to where ever rock you came out from under of, and disappearing again."

Mastermind sighs, and stands up.

"You may enter tournaments every so often, but the tournaments that I enter are all of the time. The focus is climbing the ladder even if sometimes people laugh at me for my record, which currently stands at 22 Wins, 31 Losses, with 5 Technicalities. In case you are too slow doing the math JB, that equates 58 Matches."

Mastermind walks over to the window, and looks out it. He then grabs a pitcher of water, and pours himself a cup. He then drinks the water and looks outside the window.

"Where was I again? Oh yeah that's right 58 Matches in almost a year. Mid March is when I would have been here for a year. Wow I hear you say, big deal. It is a big deal to me JB, very much of a big deal. You may not respect me, but I do what I can to get by. I've won the now defunct Arc of the Covenant Title, twice in fact in as many minutes when it was contested in a time match, and I won the X-Treme Championship twice.

"I hear you say big deal. I also hear you say, you lost it twice whilst defending it. No, no, no, let;s get that fact straight for a second. I may have lost it the first time I defended it. But the second time I defended it, I had two matches, and I survived those two matches which involved a stupid chair named after me, and Joey Hawkins. I then lost it to the Doc, who's held it ever since, and has almost won two 24/7 briefcases.

"I've been involved in a battle for the Television Championship about three times. Three times and failed to win it all three times. I have a chance to go for the tag team belts or the trios belts any time I want with a partner or partners. With the conditions of winning the Xtreme Belt and lasting two weeks at a time, all I have to do is find a partner or partners and cash in my opportunity. But you see JB, I don't like being paired up. I don't play well. I love singles action. Because sometimes partners can let you down, and leave you hanging.

"So I will ask the obvious question that the direction of this line of topic was heading, and ask what have you won JB? Do you even care? Because at the end of the day once again you cost me a place in the Tournament for the Intercontinental Championship, and that was my first tournament that I really wanted to be in."

Mastermind pours another glass of water, drinks it, and walks back to his chair.

"What's the moral of this story I hear you ask? Well the moral of this story is, I am going to take my frustrations out on you come Wednesday, and show Warfare Management why I shouldn't have been excluded from the tournament based on being called out by you. Our match is first for crying out loud. We will be forgotten about by the time the first match of the tournament comes about. I hate being forgotten about.

"So if you think for one second JB that you are going to come out with some awesome promos that will discuss the situation and down play calling me out, then you are in for the ride of your life. Bring it, I say. Because Pay Back is going to be a bitch, and that's all I am going to say about that for now. If you decide to show up, then that's all well and dandy for you. Otherwise keep doing what you are doing and waltz in here whenever you feel like it, do 1 or two promos, and leave again, let's see where that gets you. I know where that'll get you. A whole world of pain."

Mastermind starts laughing and turns his chair around to face the wall, and starts humming. The camera fades out.
