When we were last with Mastermind, he had returned back to New Zealand for a weeks break, before he had to meet Doctor Louis D'Ville for his X-Treme Title. His now girlfriend Maria, picked him up at the airport, and as they were heading back to his Mansion, Maria dropped the bombshell that her parents wanted to meet him. That didn't worry him, he agreed to it, what did worry him was that he had not told Maria about his past, and as a result, he had clammed up.

CONTINUATION: PART 2

It was still silent in the back of the limo, as it headed towards Mastermind's mansion. Mastermind was trying to figure out a way to talk to Maria about his past. He hated talking about it. He spoke about it to no one.

Maria whilst looking out the window, put her hand in his. Mastermind sighed.

"I was an only child."

Maria looked across at Mastermind. To her, he seemed pained to be even bring up the subject of the past.

MARIA: "Okay."

"I lost my mother at an early age."

MARIA: "I'm sorry."

Mastermind still looking out the window, squeezed Maria's hand.

"It's okay. That's not all. I was so angry that she died, I took it out on my father. I began to act out. I went down the wrong road and almost went down the crime road."

MARIA: "Okay."

"Dad couldn't the situation so he told me he didn't want me. I had to move in with my school's wrestling coach. And from that moment on, he helped take my anger way by teaching me how to wrestle. Once I turned 18 I left. I've spoken to Dad a few times over the years, but not to the extent that we are close."

Maria nodded.

MARIA: "I know hard it must have been for you to tell me all that, I do appreciate it. You didn't have to tell me, you could have waited."

"I needed to tell you because you are the biggest person in my life, and you mean a lot. You're the only person who knows that apart from the people in my past."

MARIA: "Again I appreciate that. I just need to tell you, I have four older brothers."

Mastermind smiled.

"Will they be there Saturday night?"

MARIA: "If my dad has his way, yes."

Mastermind smiles again, and open his arms for Maria to curl up into.

"I'm fine with that."

They started laughing and curled up with one another as the long ride continued.

SATURDAY 22ND NOVEMBER 2014

The limo headed towards Maria's parents place, and Mastermind and Maria were sitting snug together.

MARIA: "Please don't be worried, you'll be fine."

Mastermind looked down at Maria.

"I'm fine, I'm not worried."

MARIA: "That's good then."

The limo drove up to the outskirts of Maria's parents house and stopped. Mastermind looked out the window.

MARIA: "We're here, are you ready?"

Mastermind took a deep breath, and nodded. He opened the door, and got out, and waited as Maria got out. He then closed the door, and tapped on the top of the limo roof, giving the sign for it to go. The limo drove off.

Mastermind was dressed in his best black and white dress suit, whilst Maria was dressed in a stunning long red dress, and had her long hair down. Mastermind loved seeing Maria with her hair down. But his main focus tonight was getting to know her family. She was the most important person in his life.

Maria took his hands in her, and she led them into her parents section. They walked quietly towards the door, suddenly it opened and out stepped a tall guy, dressed in black leathers. Leather jacket, and leather pants. To Mastermind he looked like a bouncer.

Maria smiled.

MARIA: "Hi Jake."

Jake looked at Mastermind, and kept his eyes on him.

JAKE: "Hey Sis."

Jake continued to look at Mastermind. Mastermind looked back at Jake.

MARIA: "M, this is my brother Jake. He's the eldest one, Jake this is M."

Once again Mastermind and Jake kept staring at one another. Mastermind held out his hand.

"Please to meet you."

Jake looked down at Mastermind's hand.

MARIA: "Jake behave."

JAKE: "What am I doing sis?"

MARIA: "You know full well what, now stop it."

Jake semi smiled at Mastermind.

JAKE: "Well, M, I'm only going to say this once... If you hurt my little sister I am going to hurt you."

Mastermind nodded.

"I totally understand and I hear you."

Jake shook Mastermind's hand.

JAKE: "I'm glad we got that straight. Hey sis."

Jake gave his sister a hug, and stepped a side. Mastermind looked at Maria.

"Is this is what the others are going to do?"

"No."

Everyone looked at the door, a tall grey haired man was standing there.

MARIA: "Dad."
