☆How it all began ☆
Born in the second biggest City in England, Birmingham. I always dreamt that I would become a Wrestler ever since I started watching organisations, WWF or WWE as it is now known and WCW respectively. It was because of my older brother, James, who was a big fan. I started watching it when I was just five years old. Me and James used to have the figures which admittedly never did much, there legs wouldn't move. As I got older they got better and they would bend and everything. We had the ring, the title belts, the VHS video's which later turned into DVD'S, T-shirts and lot's of other merchandise. As I continued to be a regular viewer I fell in love with the sport even more. Other than football or as you Americans call it, "soccer" and boxing, I couldn't live without wrestling. In fact, it was probably my favourite sport and still is today. As I grew older, it became more entertaining and violent. Especially in an organisation called ECW, although I wasn't allowed to watch it. Wrestling would become a bit more dramatic, the moves became more Athletic and now a single chair shot wouldn't finish you off. James would let me watch his older VHS video's with the likes of Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man Randy Savage and England's own, The British Bulldog, as well as others. I always seemed to prefer different superstars to my bro and other fan's. Owen Hart was way better than his brother, Brett Hart, in my opinion. James was a big Undertaker fan where I was a fan of Shawn Michaels and Scott Hall (Razor Ramon). The Rock is my favourite ever. The few I named we're all inspirational to me.
When I was 9 years old, my dad knew how passionate I was about it and took me to my first ever live show. In England WWE and WCW would only come over once or twice a year. He took me to an WCW event and whilst everyone cheered for Sting including my brother, I cheered for Scott Hall who was a heel. It seemed that I liked the heels a lot more. It was amazing. After the show I said to my dad, "that's what I want to do more than anything". My dad just thought it was a phase and told me to do well at school. My feelings never changed and I kept going on that I still wanted to do it. A year later my dad would look for a wrestling school for me to join. He was a hard worker, a labourer so we wern't exactly well off but he and my mum knew how much wrestling meant to me. There wern't many wrestling schools in England. My dad eventually managed to find one though, a few months later, just before my 10th birthday. My dad would take me on a Saturday as I was at school in the week. Other kids would be going to football, karate, kickboxing etc but I was 1 in many who chose wrestling.
However, who was to say I would be good at it?! I went to secondary school or "high school", as they call it here in America, and became good friends with a lad named Matthew. Matt would join me at the wrestling school and we'd also do it at home, even though we wern't supposed too. I remember when I did a Swanton Bomb off my cupboard on to Matt who had a ladder placed on his body in my living room. After I hit it, I flipped up and flew passed my parent's TV. I could imagine my parents would have gone mental if I had smashed it.
By the time I was 15, I was then trained by Chris Adams, not to be confused with the well known English Wrestler. He trained the both of us and taught us a lot about the wrestling business. Chris knew I was talented and told me not to waste it. Because of Chris and his contacts he got us in to a company called Revolution Pro Wrestling at the age of 17. We spent a year there before joining Frontier Wrestling Alliance. After a year at FWA, we decided to leave England and move to America where wrestling was most popular. It was here I got trained by one of the best of all time, HBK Shawn Michaels. Unfortunately for Matty his career came to an early end because of a accident that left him paralysed from the waist down. Despite this, he still encouraged me to continue with my career.
A few months later I joined a company called Total Xtreme Wrestling and had a successful couple of years. In TXW the first gold I won was the tag - team championships with James Reynolds. After holding the tag titles for a while I decided to go my own way and turned on him, vacating the titles in the process. I then won the TXW Xtreme Championship and held it for 8 months solid. Before TXW unfortunately went bust, I achieved my dream. I was the last, defending, TXW world heavyweight champion. I didn't have to create my own crappy championship. After TXW went under, I took a year hiatus to find the right organisation for me.
Five weeks ago I rang the XWF, they watched some clips of me in action and gave me a trial two weeks later. I was successful in my trial, the owner(s) was impressed with me and offered me a one year contract. After a lot of thought and discussions with friends and relatives, I signed on the dotted line. It was a bit crazy when I was at the XWF Headquarters and that's where I made a new "friend" in Darren Dangerous. I was only there an hour and I had already made an enemy. In fact, I made two enemies; Michael Mcbride seemed to have a problem with me too. But hey, it was all fun and games, surely i'm not the only one who likes a cup of fine, warm ass coffee spilt over my "cheap" suit, right? The fact is it wasn't a cheap suit. I don't do cheap. Ok, so I wasn't a millionaire yet but I deserved to have a decent suit for all my hard work. The only reason I never broke Darren's fat jaw right there was because I was in the headquarters. It wouldn't look good that the newbie they we're impressed with, decided to get into a brawl with another superstar. I stayed calm though and now we will settle it in the ring, one on one.
