I've noticed over the past couple weeks a lot of announcements being made about time off even when it's really only a week, 2 weeks, a month, etc...
Please keep in mind we have a handful of regulars who don't even RP all the time and hardly ever book themselves in shows. We DO have people who are part-timers here, and that's the same as needing a week/month off. It's fine... it's not even like taking time off. You're just going to a lighter schedule like several of the guys/girls here already do; no need for an announcement about it if it's just a temporary thing.
Off the top of my head I believe these are some examples of our part timers aka people we don't book unless they tell us to because we know they need a light schedule: Dean McGovern, Guppy Parsh, El Ray, Ric Flair, John Cena, Mr. XWF, Unknown Soldier, and I think even John Madison's character is on the lighter schedule right now. See what I mean guys? These are people we considered to be HERE... they're not gone. They just book less. Some of them have less than 1 match a month and it's fine. Always remember the part time/lighter schedule is ALWAYS open to ANYBODY.
If you're going to be away for a week/month/etc, but it's only a short leave, please do not post about it here. If it's just a temporary absence, send a PM to the GM of your show so they know to think of you in "part time" terms until further notice. Part time terms means we DO NOT book you in future matches unless you opt in to them, regardless of the roster you're on.
Also, if there is ever an urgent message you need to get to any of us, please do it via PM because an OOC thread is probably the last thing that will be seen.

Also, if you are somebody going to a part time schedule and you DO want to address it publicly, do it in character. Make a news post about how your contract has been renegotiated or write an RP about it or something. Use your stepping back and taking a breather as material to develop your character and keep them fresh in our minds even with getting booked less. Keep us informed through IC news/rumors/etc and you'll see more people take notice to what you're doing even if it's on a lighter schedule.

If it's just 1 character, there's definitely no reason for a thread about it. Just handle it In Character and be sure to make contact with your GM so they know not to book just that 1 character. Like I said if you WANT people to know about it for that character, do a news/rumors post or something.
OOC "taking time off" threads really should only be posted when the handler is going to be completely away for more than just a month or two with zero access, because then it's like saying farewell to a group of buddies who you might not see for a long time. People get confused when they see a bunch of "time off" threads and it's really just people who took a week or 2 off and are back already lol.

Yes. Guppy, Flair, El Rey, and I think Cena all have a more active guy around.

Jonathyn Brown would be in tears after what you've done, Tony. (he hated, hated, hated, hated ANY type of picbase change EVER, and almost made a rule that you can't change picbases) ...And your picbase change does indeed make you a horrible person.
I think the last time I hated a picbase change this much was when Luca changed to that one guy whose name I can't think of right now... the skinny guy who usually has dark/sunken in looking eyes. You've topped that, Tony! Shame on you!

@ Shane - I believe you also told me you hated Nova's pic base change as well, lol.
And if Jon Brown hated pic base changes, boy oh boy...he'd sure love Nova than, it's in his story that he can change his appearance.
