Going on a Bit of a Hiatus - Tony Santos - 12-30-2013
Hello ladies and gents. I just wanted to pop on and let everyone know (since this seems to be the way the cool kids do it these days) that I'm going to be taking a bit of a hiatus from the XWF. My batteries have been drained lately with work, and it's been tough to come up with anything creative or inspiring since returning from my ban. I'd like to say it's all fatigue, but it's probably a mix of real life fatigue and writer's block. I hope to take, say, a month or two off, then come back in full form, fresh and ready to take the Santos character further (I could never betray this character).
I wanted to thank you all for your support and kind words of advice over these past seven/eight months. Thanks to Shane for kicking my ass when I got out of line (as well as being a fucking fantastic head of this place), Madison for being involved, Eli for being awesome, Paulie and the rest of the mods for always being on their respective games and taking the time to make this place fun to be in, ESP for making me tremble in fear over typed words, and all of you other sons of bitches.
My apologies to John Austin and (likely) Griff for the no show. Work beat me down, and I just couldn't muster up anything for our match.
I expect to be lurking around the boards, reading your promos and keeping myself caught up on the ongoing storylines. I might even inject myself in to a random back and forth on the Character Development forum every once and a while.

Do what you have to do to get yourself restored. Don't forget there's never a need to fully leave XWF. We have a few people who are part time, meaning they never get booked unless they see a show they feel like opting into. Between that and occasional house shows, you'll have something available and waiting for you anytime you feel charged up.
