Sup guys, me again...

I just wanted to start another discussion on your characters and others...

1. Who's your favorite writer?

2. When writing for/as your character, do you see yourself in them at all? If so what?

3. Sorry for going thread crazy!!

You should read this. - LJ Havok - 12-20-2013

1. I like reading Eli's, Luca's, and John Austin's work.

2. With Gavin I do because that's kind of my attitude in real life.. With LJ it's a little different because I don't think like him at all..except for being a conspiracy theorist.

3. And no problem. lol

You should read this. - Morbid Angel - 12-20-2013

I don’t really have any particular author that I enjoy. I enjoy a type of books. True Ghost accounts (though I do not believe I still wish they were real) and a lot about WWII. But I can tell you this…I HATE STEPHEN KING!

Morbid Angel and myself…we share little…I mean I rant and rave like Morbid Angel in real life…I am offensive and always have been a bit of a loner. I like Death and Black metal just like Morbid Angel…I guess it’s a 50/50 deal when it comes to us…

actually when I started here as LJ we were one in the same.. then his murderous history came up.. and then he found the "truth".. He still loves his some punk music though..just like me xD

Just to be clear, the writer bit is supposed to refer to other XWF writers. I find it interesting to see how much of themselves people put into their characters.

RE: You should read this. - Theo Pryce - 12-20-2013

1. Who's your favorite writer? - Nova, NAZI, Luca, PT Filmour, Eli, Duke, Santos, ESP, Dr. Zero, John Raide, Madison

2. When writing for/as your character, do you see yourself in them at all? If so what? Only his sense of humor and sarcasm. I wish I had his money and dashing good looks.

You should read this. - Peter Fn Gilmour - 12-20-2013

1. Feder, Soldier, nova, espy
2. TO an extent yes because me and my character (and the many incarnations Ive used) never gave a shit about anybody but themselves
3. we still love ya... no homo

You should read this. - John Austin - 12-20-2013

1: God favorite writer, I have a ton on here, I guess the top 5 I love to read the most have to be:

5: Michael McBride (as of here recently)
4: LJ Havok / Gavin Graves
3: Shane (I'm a Shane guy)
2: The many characters played by Luca
1: Steve Davids

2: a little bit, like I stated previously, I see myself in John Austin cause John Austin is basically me with the knob turned to 11

tobacco man is my favorite

You should read this. - Hank Lane - 12-20-2013

Favorite writers, That's a tough one to answer since there are so many talented writers here. G-Mac, Gilmour, Payne, Callaway, Madison, And of course Sincere Lee Wild are always fun reading.

My character and I are nothing alike. Where Hank Lane is an egotistical asshole who thinks he is the best thing since ice cream I'm more laid back and down to earth.

You should read this. - "Loverboy" Vinnie Lane - 12-20-2013

My fav is Nicholas Martinaz if I'm being dishonest.

You should read this. - Sebastian Duke - 12-21-2013

My favorite writers are Shane (believe me guys, you ain't seen nothin' yet,) Soldier, Griffin MacAlister and John Madison.

as Ashen. You just have to read it to believe it.

Soldier. Probably the best writer in the fed. His imagination is totally out there but it definitely works for Soldier. I long for the day that Unknown Soldier embarks upon a full time comeback.

Griffin. He and I have worked together for so long, that I think we could successfully write entire stories centered upon each other characters. Its to the point now where he can include Duke in a RP and not even ask first. He's that good at pulling off Duke and his other main characters like Asmo and Jake. His work was the first that I read and I haven't been able to stop since. He has a knack for grabbing your attention.

Maddy. What can I say? Without a doubt the most fun person to work with. The guy is absolutely open to just about anything. There isn't anything you could do to his character that he can't twist around and make you look like a complete moron. He's a master.

Do I see myself when writing Duke? I have a tendency to write whatever is on my mind. I have included aspects of my real personal life in some of my work. Like when he talks in glowing terms of his grandmother, that is really me talking about mine. Other than that though, I'd have to say Sebastian Duke and his real life counterpart are entirely nothing alike.

I am just plain shocked

You should read this. - Jessie-ica Diaz - 12-21-2013

Fave writers here? Well fuck yo, there's a few. Espie, Dr/Room Zero/Aerosmith's Lead Singer, Grif/NAZI/Olive, Sebastian Duck/That Other Motherfucker, Nova, Tay-Oh, Tri Bute, and so on and so forth. There's a lot of talented motherfuckers in this fed.

Um, time to go sorta into this second question with all my characters? Sweet.

Luca - Meh. I wouldn't say that I'm nothing like Luca, because that isn't true. The main things that I think fall from my own personality into Luca is the "I don't give a fuck" attitude he tends to exhibit, as well as the same sense of humor.

Jessie - I would probably say that this character is the one I'm closest to in personality, more than likely due to the fact that I write in the first person with her. Again, the same sorta sense of humor kicks in, but also the flashes of insecurity and second guessing (which showed moreso in the first writings I did as the character. A lot of "is this really a good idea" shit and whatnot).

Militem Dominum - Both incarnations, the real one, and the one he portrays. No.

Tigris - Fu-huck no.

Fandango - Everything. Fandango is love, Fandango is life.

Super secret unlockable character - Not much at all, really.

I guess I could into depth on my less than active characters, but I don't really want to.

Guess who! Just thought I'd pop in and share some of my own over the past year or whatever it's been. These are kind of in order, but not really that much thought put into the order. More like the order I thought of them.

Luca A., I like the struggle Luca seems to have with himself and I like the badass he tries to be. All illustrated very well. I cant' think of another character who is outwardly such a piece of crap to the naked eye but once you get to know, you can really feel for as a person. Luca's character and I share a couple similarities so maybe that is why I can connect so well too. Easily my #1 fav.

Hunter Payne, I just really dig this guy's sense of humor because it's not really what you expect. Not sure if that makes sense but he does it pretty good. I guess you could say I just like his beat.

Egyptian Snow Pharoh, the only person I've seen be able to hit it out of the park with just focusing on story or just focusing on trash talk. A lot of people are good at doing both but nobody can flip flop to doing either one as well as she can.

Sid Feder, when this guy trash talked me a while back I thought I had a hate crime committed against me in real life. Never before have I sat there feeling how I felt after reading a Sid Feder pipe bomb.

Madison ever since the female turn. He was great before then too but not as much one of my personal fav's until things got real weird. Just the thought of him being such a freak right now and still being as good as he is, is really amazing. I'm a big fan of bringing weirdness to the table while also being able to make people afraid of challenging you. I can't picture who else here could have made such an unexpected change and done so well.

Neonero, he hasn't been around much lately but what I've read of his I will never forget. Great storyteller and always interesting vocabulary. I'd also rank him as one of the best trash talkers.

Bah, dang it, ok I keep thinking of more names. I just thought of an entire second wave of names I like reading. I'm a lot more into reading than writing which is why I kind of have this rep as a no show.

Next wave of faves:

Santos, Mystica, Sebastian Duke, John Austin, Dr. Zero, Liz Hathaway

My favorites are

1. John Madison
2. Mark Flynn
3. Mr. XWF (If I see him post on the boards I immediately mark the fuck out.)
4. NeoNero
5. Griffin MacAlister
6. Sid Feder
7. Egyptian Snow Pharaoh
8. Luca
9. Duke
10. Gilmour

Cyren actually would be on this list and very high but I left him off for obvious reasons.

1. Who's your favorite writer?
Griffin/Nazi/Olive, , Madison, Duke, Dr. Zero, ESP, Nova, Luca, Liz Hathaway, Satan, Scott Charlotte, Eli James, Mystica, Theo, Raide, and Angelus *wherever he ran off to*, Smoke *only cause he sneaks up on ya.*

2. When writing for/as your character, do you see yourself in them at all? If so what?
As Ally, a lot of her personality is how I am. The caring nature and compassion, and the sometimes smart-ass comments and her loyalty are all parts of me. But the insecurities.. no.. I've actually started dropping a lot of the personality traits of myself that I had put into her. I've been playing her for so long that she's my number one.

As Damien the honor aspect is me...but he's designed after someone in my life. My brother. So a lot is based on him, except he's not a sheriff, he's a paramedic. Other aspects of his character have been created to make him who he is.

As Charlotte, the smart-ass, misanthropic behavior she has picked up recently is a lot like I am becoming myself.

For the most part though, they are just characters with a piece of me thrown in.

You should read this. - Mystica - 12-28-2013

Favorites: Nova, Duke, Theo, Luca, and I fuckin' love Dr. Zero.

And I suppose I put a bit of myself in David, but only insofar as the timid or insecure persona goes, and perhaps his academic devotion to the English language. Other than that, it's all psychopathic Mystica and his plans to swallow the cosmos whole. Can't say I've ever really desired to do that.

And Eldred? He's just who I'd hope to be someday. Kinda cold and aloof with some authority.
