Just thought I'd share - Joe Tuesday - 12-06-2013 Hey, I just wanted to toss a quick something out there, that might serve as a cautionary tale of sorts. If you ever mess up coding in a picture or something within a rp or a post, it can make stuff disappear within the rp that falls right after said coding. Or at least appear to be that way to all who can view it, despite it still existing when you, yourself look at the edit page version. That just happened to me about 30-40 mins ago. Had to have a talk with Shane and go over stuff in order to figure out why a chunk of my rp was just invisible and a messed up picture coding, ended up being the reason. So I deleted and reposed the rp cause I figured; fuck it, might as well have it appear brand new, the way it should have looked in the first place. Anyway just thought I'd post this as a heads up. Always double check your coding, lol. Just thought I'd share - "Loverboy" Vinnie Lane - 12-06-2013 A quick note in addition to that... I know some people don't even look at the finished product and sometimes leave exposed coding on their RP and other errors. It never hurts to look at your FINISHED post after you post it, guys! DO NOT always assume the preview will be exactly how it shows in the final, posted version. Always scan your final post, after you post it, for errors. ![]() Just thought I'd share - Peter Fn Gilmour - 12-06-2013 good advice |
