Battle: Jason vs Michael Myers - Great Buzzard Eli James IV - 10-20-2013

If the two fought, who do you think would win.. and why?

My friends and I have been having this debate for a few weeks now.

I'm for Jason.

Michael Myers is so much more badass. At least in the original movies and not rob zombies disappointments.

Michael Myers

I've always been a big fan of Jason. I would say my favorite series would be Nightmare on Elm Street, but in my opinion one of the most bad ass movie scenes ever is when Krueger ''comes up from hell'' and takes Jason's mask down with him. Not to take anything away from Michael Myers, which the original Halloween movies were awesome. The first remake wasn't the worst, but the second one was absolutely HORRIBLE.

Agreed! And in Jason Goes to Hell when Freddy's hand came out of the ground I lost my mind.. it just took a long time for them to do something with that ending..Freddy Vs Jason wasn't horrible but I think everyone deserved a winner..we really didn't get one lol

I live in Illinois and you won't believe how fast the streets empty Halloween night. Even the night before ... This creepy fog rolls in and the streets are empty by 10Pm. The cops even double the day before and the day of Halloween and if you ask...they tell you it's for punks pulling pranks but last I checked... You don't need a shotgun and an automatic rifle for kids throwing toilet paper and eggs. They are freaked by Myers...to the point I saw four people dressed as Myers last year get locked up...

I'm going with Michael Myers

^That's intense.

Michael hands down because he can stalk Jason and attack when he least expects it

Battle: Jason vs Michael Myers - Great Buzzard Eli James IV - 10-21-2013

I said Jason because...

He died. Went to hell. Came back. Continued killing. And even went to space to kill. And Myers was stuck here.

Myers is more intelligent than Jason, but I think Jason is a little stronger and he uses more weapons.

Btw... Freddy vs. Jason was more of a comedy to me than any scary movie.

True it was comical in a way, but not near as comical as those Chucky abominations lol

yeah I watched it.. they tried to take it back to its roots but failed miserably..still better than the Bride and Seed.. I prefer Leprechaun over Chucky though lol

Curse of Chucky SUCKED!

Battle: Jason vs Michael Myers - Paul Heyman - 10-22-2013

I gotta go with Mister Mystery... I mean Jason Voorhees. While Myers is a hell of a killing machine, he's not as maniacal as Jason Voorhees. Jason's brute strength along with his stealth make it a mismatch. Myers can't touch Jason's strength while he could rival his stealth.

Plus, Jason has been killed like 12 times and just keeps coming back. I have to say, Kane Hodder was a good Jason and one big issue with Freddy vs Jason was that it was not Hodder. That and the special effects team was terrible. The blood spray was one thing, but when you can tell exactly where the "jets" were that sprayed the blood, you have a definite issue. That director is a shit bag.

Derek Mears in the 13 remake was pretty good. I liked the fact that they made him human rather than zombie and he used speed as well as stealth and brute strength really made him a force. The revelation of a tunnel system beneath the grounds of Crystal Lake kind of made things seem more logical as far as his ability to move around the place gave it more believable that he could be in one place, the dumb broad turns and runs the other way just for him to turn up right back in front of her.

Just an observation.

I hate to be 'that guy' but I'm going to go with Norman Bates. The original slasher! He basically set the standard for all movie serial killers that followed him. Vorhees and Myers included.

Why pick Bates?

Because everyone ran from Jason and Michael while Norman was able to lure his victims in with kindness and then tear them to pieces when they were at their most vulnerable. While they were taking a shower. He was so good at deceiving his victims in fact, that he even trained himself to manipulate his own vocal chords so his victims would believe he was having an actual conversation with his mother! In my mind, the art of deception is a VERY useful tool as a killer because it gives you more leverage over your victims than any amount of strength or stealth that Myers or Vorhees were capable of.
