How can this be? (RP 2) - Cam Lang - 10-04-2013

Location: USDC Medical Center
Status: CRITICAL
Looking down the long halls of this centre, we see how any other hospital would operate. The camera pans to the left and right looking into the rooms of those who are as unfortunate as Cam. Working people of society who have fallen to deadly illnesses and others who are simply living to wait until their death. We get to the near end of the hallway and turn into a room where we see one doctor looking down at a unrecognizable man, but it can only be one...
It's Cam Lang.
Looking at the man, the leather that was covering half of his face has been taken off and the side of his face is blackened, obviously by an unknown source. This is completely different from how we've seen him, how this has taken place we don't know and not sure if we'll find out. Another doctor comes in and slowly walks to the front of the bed and looks at the fallen man with the other doctor in the room.
How bad is it?
The doctor who's just entered the room looks over at the other, who's at a loss of words for a few seconds until he finally speaks up.
It's extremely hard to believe that this man hasn't suffered an ounce of head trauma. It's extremely hard to believe that he hasn't suffered an ounce of ANY trauma whatsoever.
The two men are still in shock, Lang's only arrived to the hospital last night but all the staff is still in shock.
When you've fallen from a height that's to that level of extremity, how can ANYONE survive? The only thing that ever came up was the significant blood loss, which can explain how here we are now with this lifeless man before us but man...
The two doctors still look on, it's not like any other patient they've had. This man is different in someway, shape or form...
LATER ON...
In front of the USDC medical centre on a cloudy day within the San Diego Metropolitan area, we have a set up near the entry doors and many suits are seen awaiting for something to come by. A women takes a few steps up to a podium and signals for everyone to take their seats and you can hear much of camera's taking pictures and whispers amongst the crowd.
This is a much bigger crowd then we had anticipated, regardless we'll still treat this as it was to be. No questions asked, this is a news conference to simply address the underlying issues of Cam Lang, and what is to be expected during the next Warfare taping when the main event will feature a triple threat trio tag match for the belts.
The women takes a step off of the podium and the one of the doctors takes a step up and looks around and is astonished by the number of media members who come to this event.
I've been overlooking the status of Cam Lang and it's simply amazing what we've found. All we know of as of now, is that Mr. Lang fell off of the rafters within the WAR room located here in San Diego and made impact with the ring which was said to be beneath him. Luckily, a staff member who works within the WAR Room and for the XWF was said to have already been on the scene and was able to retrieve medical attention and ultimately may of saved this man's life.
As for the current state of Lang, he's currently in the state of Comatose. We've come to conclusion that with everything that took place, it was most likely that he could of suffered some form of Cardiac Arrest due to the sheer impact of the fall he took. We are holding him within the Intensive care unit and we have already begun a treatment. Other then that, there is nothing we can do but hope that this man will make a recovery somehow and it's simply up to him and how he takes the treatment whether he will be able to get out of this Comatose state or not.
The doctor walks down the pair of steps and goes to sit in his original seating arrangement. He seems to be taking a few deep breaths and the women once again walks up to the podium.
Thank you doctor, for everything you're doing as of this moment. We need to introduce one more man, who has been seen as a hero. This was the man who called in to the medical staff after this accident occurred. Please welcome, Mr. Jase.
The man gets a big standing ovation as he walks up to the centre stage. It's an older man, a bald head and very scrawny and skinny frame. He's also pretty short, having to adjust the microphone to his size.
I wish I could stand before you today as a hero... but there is a much deeper meaning to why this has all happened.
A confused look is placed among the faces of many, even including the man who's speaking.
I really don't know how to explain this so I'm just gonna attempt to come out and say it. Cam Lang DIDN'T fall off of the rafters. He JUMPED off...
Pure silence. The whispers and the noises of camera's going off have all stopped. Some of the faces being made are just of pure shock, others still confused, and yet there are more people who just don't really know what to think. The old man stands still for a few seconds before taking a few steps back and walking to his original seating position as well. No one is making a noise, the state of this news conference appears to be over.
