I asked before I used anyone in my dream rps.
Guess it kinda depends on who you use but I would ask...just out of respect for the writer in the off chance they want to opt out.

Just as a note for everyone... the official rule here is that a dream isn't "real" in the RP world so it's not a real usage of those characters. Any type of dream sequence, illusion, impersonation, etc... is all fine and dandy since it's not REALLY the other character being used. You're welcome to ask them if you like, but it's fine either way.

In one of my earlier RPs I kinda sorta used Eli James IV in a dream sequence, it never said it was him. But it was obvious under the circumstances..but since I didn't use his name I never really even thought about it.
