Sayors searches for 'El Rey' (Part 1) - El Rey - 08-10-2013
Steve Sayors has been ordered by XWF Management to seek out this mysterious 'El Rey' before his debut on Wednesday Warfare. The problem with this is finding this wrestler. "Seek out" is a polite way of saying go to the depths of nowhere. Somewhere between Heaven and Hell, and find this guy we are paying a lot of money to appear on our show. Steve Sayors first had to take a plane to Hawaii. Then a second plane to somewhere in South America. He was then put in a helicopter to a distant unknown island of jungle. Steve Sayors is taken off the helicopter and understandably is not in the best mood from all the jet-lag and trips he had to take to get to this one location. As he gets off he is greeted by a white man in a suit.
Guide: Mr. Sayors I presume?
Sayors: Would anyone else travel this far to see 'El Rey'?
Guide: Actually plenty. See the one you call 'El Rey' is quite popular in the professional wrestling industry. Despite being in seclusion, he has been seeked out by multiple wrestling company workers like yourself.
Sayors: Yeah? well why didn't he sign with them then?
Guide: They didn't live to see him...
Sayors: What?!
Guide: Though many have attempted to sign him, all have failed to find him. Rest assured it will not be an easy task to find the one who you are looking for. With my guidance however, you might have a chance...
Sayors: I don't think this is a good idea. How are you going to guide me in the jungle in a suit?
Guide: With my words... If you want to sign him, then you and only you will be able to get to him. I'll just be following you, trying to prevent you from being killed.
Sayors: Can i make a quick phone call before I go?
Guide: Do you get a signal here?
Steve Sayors attempts to call XWF Owner Shane
to explain the circumstance, but the call doesn't go through.Sayors: No... Listen, I really don't want to do this! Besides my company the XWF already signed him to wrestle!
Guide: If this is true, then why are you here seeking him now?
Sayors: I guess it's because they want him to debut earlier than expected.
Guide: How is he supposed to show up to a wrestling event he didn't know he was supposed to be apart of?... Oh well, You're going to have to break the bad news to him yourself.
The guide points Steve Sayors in the direction to go. Steve Sayors is hesitant but eventually goes. The guide follows and into the dark obscure jungle they go. A few steps in they see a skeleton that freaks out Steve Sayors. The Guide picks up the sword the skeleton was wielding. Then hands it to Steve Sayors.
Guide: You might need that for later.
Sayors: Was that a real skeleton?!
Guide: Yes, our friend didn't make it very far I'm afraid.
Sayors: I'm sorry. I can't do this!
Guide: Mr. Sayors, you don't have a choice at this point.
When the guide said that, we see the helicopter flying away from the scene. Steve Sayors starts to cry realizing what he just got himself into.
Guide: On we go Mr. Sayors. Come on, you'll be fine. Just don't show the forest your fear.
Sayors: You're right I can do this!
The two march forward deeper and deeper into the jungle.
