Sitting on my car - Matt Lennox - 08-08-2013
The scene opens to the Grand Canyon. The camera is high in the air looking deep into the canyons. You see a mustang sitting right next to one of the canyons and the camera begins zooming in towards the car. As the camera gets closer you sees to laying on the hood of the car in a white t shirt and blue jeans just staring up in the sky.
Matt- Things have changed haven't they? I mean hell, look at me. You don't see me rocking the Canadian flag. You don't see me with some large ass hole, yes I'm talking about Jacob Lewis.
Matt puts on a pair of sunglasses.
Matt- That sun sure is bright ain't it? Just take in the view, the grand fucking canyon. Me and you are thinking the same thing you know that. "Why the hell am I sitting on my car on top of the Grand Canyon"? Like I said I'm thinking that just like you. I was sitting at my house back in Baltimore Maryland and I looked out the window. I looked out of it and got a sudden urge to go on an adventure. So I hopped in my car and here I am, I know I could have went to somewhere more fun like Disney Land or some shit. But when I saw the sign saying Grand Canyon I just had to come.
Matt looks down at his watch.
Matt- Looks like I've been laying here for about six hours. I guess I should get back home soon. Does anybody even know where this ladder show is? I saw the card but there was no location. Guess ill have to call Archie Lawson when I get back to Baltimore. Laying out here I've had some time to think. I was finding it a little funny how I won a belt without even making an official return. Damn shame I lost it, at least I lost it to someone respectable and not none of them Connection bastards.
Matt sits up on the hood and looks out.
Matt- You know why I became a professional wrestler? Because growing up I had the honor to watch people such as Bret Hart, Stone Cold, Edge and many other greats. Those three men alone are the people who motivated me the most. If you noticed those three men sort of have something in common. They didn't need a team mate to reach the highest potential in their respected companies. Once Edge and Christian broke up, Edge went on to great things. Stone Cold was a loner and look at him. He carried the WWE for years all alone on his back. The same with "The Hitman", he was a lone dog and he lead WWE in the ratings wars until Vince McMahon screwed him.
Matt gets off the car and stands over the canyon looking down.
Matt- Notice I kept saying how good those three were alone. And how being alone they were greater than most people. Well, I guess that's one thing I have in common. Another thing those men had was not needing a gimmick, the men you saw in that ring was them. They didn't need to walk out to the ring dancing and shit. That's another thing in common with me. I don't need no gimmicks here in XWF, I am who I am. I will reach the top of XWF soon and the Lennox era will begin.
A plane flies over Matt making him stop talking as he watches it fly off into the distance.
Matt- This Saturday I'm entering this ladder match with one goal. And that is facing Satellite for the XWF TV title. I don't care who I have to knock out before I get there but by the end of that match. Everyone will be looking up at me with the contract in hand to face Satellite on August 19th. This isn't a do over for Matt Lennox, this is just a second coming.
Matt walks off camera view as it fades out.
