House of Horrors part 2 - Andrew Aldway - 07-31-2013

Keys and muffled talking are heard and it sounds like there's a lock being messed with, suddenly a door slams open from above and a stream of light comes down the flight of weathered wooden stairs, immediately followed by a string of loud screams. A few large thumps are heard at the top of the stairs and the screams stop for a moment before beginning again at an even higher and more desperate pitch. After a few moments of what sounds like struggling Andrew begins carefully walking down the stairs carrying Stephanie in his arms like a child. As he reaches the bottom step he drops the girl onto the floor nonchalantly, sending the sickening noise of flesh hitting concrete ringing throughout the room. He steps over the girl and walks a few steps into the room, reaching up he pulls a string and turns on a dim light, revealing the room, filled with chairs coupled with restraints, a large generator with jumper cables attached to the motor in one corner, a metal desk and a bookcase filled with books, with what looked like notes hanging from them in the other corner, along with other forms of what seem to be torture devices scattered throughout the room. As Andrew looks around the room he laughs a little.

"So, darling where shall we begin?"

A large bang comes from the top of the stairs and as Andrew quickly turns he realizes that Stephanie had run off on him.

"Bloody hell."

He quickly grabs a rusty pair of pliers sitting on the desk and bolts his way up the staircase after her. As he makes it to the top of the stairs he stops and listens, his eyes dart up and down the rooms, looking for any trace of where the woman might be hiding. A small click, like a door closing, to his right causes him to quickly lunge to the door, knocking over a small reading light in his rage. As he reaches the back door and looks around the kitchen he notices a red liquid running along the white, marble counter, which he quickly walks over to and dips a finger in before bringing it up to his face and inhaling deeply. As he does this a smile crosses his face, and looking at the door handle, he realizes it too stained with blood, laughing he makes his way calmly to the door flips a light switch next to it and walks out into the cool darkness whistling, slamming the door behind him. When he gets outside he takes a quick look around, the flood of light coming from the fixture above the porch reveals a dark glossy, oak patio with four lounging chairs set atop it and a large hot tub on the far side with a blue tarp placed over it.

"Come out, come out wherever you are."

Andrew smiles as he taunts the woman, slowly walking over to the hot tub, ripping off the tarp, but revealing nothing but a few dried up leaves laying in the bottom. From the dark outside the porch the snap of a twig alerts Andrew to movement, he looks in the direction of the noise, shoving the pliers in his pajama pockets, with a deranged, maniacal look on his face. As he makes in the direction a scream comes from within the house, drawing his attention away from the line of pine trees in the distance, and causing him to stand in place as if torn to go investigate inside the house or continue on his hunt for Stephanie. Another scream comes from inside the house, louder than the first, piquing Andrew's interest.

"Now what in the bloody fuck is this?"

He decides to let Stephanie run blindly in the dark as he silently makes his way back into the house. As he enters the house another high pitched scream comes from what sounds like just the other room, but as Andrew makes his way to the dining room and turns on the light it reveals nothing but the table, chairs and remnants of last night's meal of chicken and ribs strewn across the table. Another string of screams, this time clearly coming from beneath the floor, in the basement. Andrew turns down the corridor, gets to the basement door and opens it, as screaming begins echoing throughout the house he stands still for a moment, letting the screams from below wash over him like a wave before slowly making his way down the steps.
