Major Return for 2025 - Thaddeus Duke - 12-04-2024
As you might have noticed, I've been doing some clean up on the boards. I reconfigured some things, moved some things around, adjusted the descriptions of different boards and eliminated those we too seldom use or never really use at all.
That said, I did break the recent RP list again, so that sucks but Mr. Lane is gonna fix that when he gets a chance.
I have 3 other priorities on my list of things to do.
1- Fix all the broken pics in the Hall of Legends.
2- Revamp the Top 50 (things have changed a lot since we last adjusted it.)
3- We're bringing back the xbux system beginning in 2025. While it hasn't really gone away, it hasn't been used properly since the original system broke. I've been experimenting with payouts and pricing and such and reset all (or most) accounts to 25k. I would refrain from purchasing anything until the new year because I'm likely resetting everyone again once the system goes into effect. One thing that hurt interest in the new system to begin with was payouts for activity were so low, you barely noticed them. That will change and additionally, we'll be reintroducing a "pay" system that we had during the OG xbux era, which I will elaborate on as we get closer to the relaunch. For now, we will not have the steal system in place at the beginning. We will reintroduce that at a later stage.

EXCITING!
A suggestion - could we get the most recent roleplays to also include character development pieces? I realise I miss out on a lot of them - but they're sometimes some of the best work out there.
The non competitive stuff, while I haven't really had the time to do them, is some good work!

I always liked the fun shoppable items we had and think it would be swell if we could have more.

That's the part I broke lol. You see Reggie's there, but not Sahara's. That's how I figured out something had gone awry.

More items are definitely coming (assuming things function the way they're supposed to.)
There are some items that are from previous times that I repurposed for today's roster, such as:
Seb's Empire Chapstick (originally for Fuzz)
Dionysus memoirs or w/e the f that was (originally for Big D)
Bacchus poetry book (originally for Tony Santos)

Is the plan. Lane still has to show me how to do a few things (like not break stuff, for instance) so like I told Aurora, more shoppable items are coming, assuming the BTS thingy functions as it's supposed to.
