November '24 RPOTM - "The Bashmaster" Barry Masterson - 12-03-2024

Between Spooky Savage and WarGames, the November '24 RP cycle was one for the ages.

Below are a few RPs from November that we felt were particularly strong pieces.

Please select from these nominated pieces below, and leave a comment on why you're voting it as RPOTM. It's a nice gesture to share positive feedback for your fellow XWFers.

But remember this!

Your vote isn't limited to these selections below. With all of the great work this last month, it's an inevitability that we're forgetting some.

If you have another RP in mind, please nominate it in the comment section, share the link, and share some reasons why you think it should get a groovy picture and some shine on the website.

The Institute (Syn, Dyson, Aurora, Oz) - The Circuitry of Us: Institutionalized

Prince Adeyemi - A Tale of Four Kings I: It Takes Four to Tango... Badly.

Lucy Wylde - Vault 101 - Part Two - Womb to Tomb

Roger - The Four Horsemen: Death. Wait... does this mean I have to die? I don't want to die!

Charlie Nickles - Sunderland Recovery

RE: November '24 RPOTM - Madison Dyson - 12-03-2024

Unabashed self serving vote for my own War Games team here.

As per tradition the only time I allow myself to vote for something I had a hand in writing is for a War Games team. And it feels especially poignant this year because, as I said to my team, it's the year where everything felt so balanced in terms of contribution and effort.

Everybody on the team played an equally vital role in what we put out, and I can't say that for every War Games I've ever been on. Each members sweat went into that RP and I think it showed.

I'm proud of what we did and I'm proud we got to the finals against a field of truly remarkable writing by such a diverse body of players.

RE: November '24 RPOTM - Prince Adeyemi - 12-04-2024

I gotta give my vote to the Institute too, I think that piece brilliantly weaved the characters on the team with the theme of the show, and gave me such a fun read. I generally ENJOY reading non-tt narrative a lot more, and having 4000 words of just that was wonderful.

I voted for Roger because I don’t want him to have to die 🥺

As someone who just joined, trying to find my way around was wild but I stumbled into the Wargames RPs and I gotta agree, The Institute absolutely killed it. So it gets my vote as well!

Though, I do want to say that all the RPs I read so far have been amazing. I'm very excited to be here
