Monty Hall's Pin Attempt - YALL_KNOW_WHO - 12-27-2021
The scientist from before walks out onto a game show stage. His head is bandaged from being attacked earlier.
He stands in front of a wall with four doors.
"Imagine, if you will, you're on a game show. You have four doors in front of you."
"And if you pick the door behind which is the X-Treme champion, you win a cash prize."
"Behind one door is Reggie Estrada. Behind another door is Cage Coleman. And behind the other two doors are donkeys."
"Now, there's a one-in-four chance of selecting the X-Treme champion and there are no obvious clues. Because of these facts, each door has an equal one-in-four chance of being the one the X-Treme champion is behind, you pick one at random."
A floodlight shines on the second door.
"Now, imagine, after you select the door, the host of the show opens the two doors behind which are donkeys."
Suddenly, the third and fourth door open, behind which are a pair of donkey cut-outs on posterboard and wood. The sciences are underfunded and we couldn't afford donkeys.
"Now, the host gives you the option to either swap your choice or remain with the original door you chose. Should you switch or do you stay?"
...
"Statistics indicates the likelier option for success... is to switch."
A pie chart appears above the doors with one-quarter green and the remaining is red.
"When you chose your door at the beginning, your choice had a 25% chance of success, while the other three doors had a combined 75% chance of success. Now that two of the three wrong doors have been eliminated, the remaining door has a 75% chance of the X-Treme Champion being behind it."
"The scenario has shifted and the unchosen door has become much likelier because we know there's a total 100% chance of the X-Treme champion being behind one of these doors."
"Of course, this is all hypothetical and just a teaching exerci-"
Before the scientist can conclude the lesson...
Some Guy.
Some Guy?
Yeah, that one.
Plows into the scene driving a forklift, hitting the scientist at ramming speed.
"HAHA, I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE!"
The forklift digs under the wall housing all four doors...
And then flips it onto its side! The entire structure collapses!
That Guy then dives ontop of the fallen wall, of which the scientist said there's a 100% chance the X-Treme champion is under there!
The XWF official who gave That Guy his forklift driving certification begins the count...
