Would someone mind explaining to me what a cold open is? Does it mean that we need to cut a promo right at the beginning of the rp? Or is it more like don’t cut a promo in the rp at all? I’m not big on cutting promos in my rps at all I’m more of a story teller that will address things in story instead of talking trash directly to my opponent. Unless of course it’s called for.

Cold open means not responding to anything your opponent said in their first roleplay for your match.

As Charlie said, a Cold Open means you can't respond to anything your opponent has said in that RP cycle, which generally would mean their first one.
However, you are allowed to address anything about your opponent not related to RPs for your match, such as shows and previous RPs from other matches.

Discord is like MSN messenger, but it's more advanced than MSN messenger
