JUSTICE - Mastermind - 08-28-2020

15 MARCH 2019
CHRISTCHURCH
NEW ZEALAND

1.40 p.m.

The day New Zealand changed forever.

At 1.40 p.m. A lone gunman opened fired on the first of two separate Mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, and 12 minutes later opened fired inside the second mosque.

He then headed for a mosque in Ashburton which is half an hour out of Christchurch, but was stopped not far from the original two mosques by police.

The gunman was Australian. He apparently had been planning the attack for quite a while and had filmed the attack live on Facebook.

He killed 51 people that day. Mostly Men, and some children.

He injured 40.

They were praying during their usual Friday afternoon prayers.

The gunman thought he could divide the Country. He failed.

He united the country in its grief.

It was New Zealand's first terrorist attack.

People came together to support the muslim community and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern managed to change our gun laws.

Jacinda called it 'One of New Zealand's darkest days'.

I remember where I was that day.

Preparing for a Warfare match. I was on the road then.

When I found out what was going on, I couldn't focus.

I needed to return home to my people. To grieve with the nation.

I remember using that grief, and turning it around and using it to help me win the X-treme Championship from Vita Valenteen.

TODAY
27TH AUGUST 2020

After watching the whole week where survivors of the Christchurch Mosque shooting and victims and families came together in court, to tell the Gunman what they thought of him and listening to their victim impact statements Of course they were emotional and angry. Who wouldn't be?

The judge passed down the judgement on the gunman.

LIFE IMPRISONMENT WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE FOR THE 51 MURDERS.

That was the highest judgement handed down in the history of New Zealand court of law. That meant that the gunman has to live the remainder of his pathetic loser of a life behind bars until the day he dies.

Some people want him shifted to Australia but that comes at a cost, because what happened with the Rainbow Warrior in 1987 where two French agents were captured and spent a few months in prison in New Zealand before the Governments of New Zealand and France did a deal and the French agents were sent back to France.

Well that blew up in our faces as not years after that but the French Agents were released and given bigger jobs.

So the gunman can stay behind bars in New Zealand for all I care.

Justice has been done.

THINKING ROOM
MASTERMIND'S MANSION
WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND

The camera fades into the thinking room of Mastermind, and once again it focuses on the back of the chair that Mastermind is sitting in. He is facing the wall.

"Justice........

"It has been delivered for those victims of the Christchurch Terrorist attack last year.

"And it hasn't come a moment too soon.

"It's been an emotional week for everyone concerned. Watching their victim impact statements on the news has really blown me away. They are in a postion to be emotional. Where as for me, my emotional state has been because of something I can control, and it's not something that one should be emotional about. Losing all the fucking time. Yes it's completely avoidable. I can fix it. Whereas those grieving for their loved ones, it was a horror event, and it wasn't their fault.

"So what right do I have to sit here and feel sorry for my fucking self? No right. That's the answer to that question.

"I know I need to pull my head out of my ass and face the facts. I've lost 8 in a row and facing the chance of equaling my worse ever losing record. So what? At least I can still walk, and talk, and compete.

"It's time for me to deliver my own form of justice/"

Mastermind turns his chair around to face the camera. He seems more 'alive', more angrier than usual.

"Justice for me this week will be when I break my 8 match losing streak. I will NOT equal my record of 9. I WILL beat Tommy Wish.

"Tommy, you can talk about me mastering people's minds all you want,
you can talk about me losing my many matches all you want
you can also talk about me giving people t-shirt all you want and saying it is unfair.
But here's the thing. It's part of who I am, and if I say I can Master people's minds I can.
Just like now. With you. The mere fact that you are talking about me just goes to show I have already won.
I won because I made you talk about it.

"The mere fact that I can give out t-shirts, is because I can. Not a lot of people thought like that before and so I was able to do that and shake the very foundations of what is fair and what isn't. For me, it's only fair that if I beat my opponents then they get something that they can keep on remembering that they lost to me.
I mastered them, just like I am going to Master you.
You don't seem to get it, I guess you never will.
That's just to show how fucking stupid you are."

Mastermind smirks his infamous smirk.

"So stop talking drivel and stop whining about my shirts. They have always been a part of who I am. I didn't stop when other people complained about them. I ain't going to stop now.

"You want to talk about being silent towards me. I can help you with that. I'll silence you for good. When I place you in my Mind Controller, you'll have no choice but to tap out. It's just that simple.

"So here's my justice. You will tap out to my Mind Controller and from there I will be more than happy to give a t-shirt to you that you don't really want or need, but I'm telling you this Tommy. You have no fucking choice in the matter.

"How do you like that justice Tommy? It's not a question for you to answer it's a statement. But go ahead and pick that apart."

Mastermind starts chucking and turns his chair around to face the wall.

"I will see you when I see you, Tommy. You are going to regret that you ever faced me in a singles competition. I will win Wednesday, and I will make damn sure that you leave Warfare feeling the fool."

The camera fades out.
