When someone is entertaining and fascinating enough to make me mention them privately to other users and describe their gimmick as "easily the most interesting and fun thing going on in the fed right now" that person absolutely gets my vote for SOTM. That person is The Wizard.
Not only did Wiz come "this close" to claiming SOTM last time, he took that same momentum and intrigue full blast into July. Seeing his goofy adventures play out on his way to reaching his target, Mastermind, was highly entertaining and the only time I can recall a person really running an "I'm after someone" gimmick that well in years. This guy is, without a doubt, a ROLEPLAYER and not just another talented writer. He's here to play the game with us. As much of a joke char as Wiz obviously can be at times, it was cool seeing his dedication and his journey, even working his way up the ladder through some of MM's stable mates, etc... The Wiz has worked on his character development and his angle and developed it for months (and I bet it was 100% organic; not pre-planned between him and MM privately)! Almost nobody else does that anymore, and if more people did, the fed would be popping like crazy.
If we don't go by that, then I think we all have to be honest and say Sarah deserves it because by default if you win a briefcase and win the Uni title all in the same show, that should speak volumes for that entire month. Going into LoF and knowing you will be able to win and cash in a briefcase all in the same night, IS an impressive feat because you're supposed to tell the staff about cashing in far ahead of time, before the RPing for the show is even finished. I don't think anyone else has ever been able to submit their cash in before winning their briefcase like that, and I have a feeling most would fail in the attempt. This means she wasn't able to fully gauge her opponents' RPs or the RPs of Shawn&Cent in the Uni title match, and had no idea how strong they'd score against each other, meaning she had no idea how weak the winner would be. Has anyone else ever been able to win a briefcase AND cash it in on the same night before like that? I think Kane did in WWE, but what about here? I honestly can't remember it happening and I doubt it will be happening again anytime soon.

My vote is for The Wizard. The moment he came after me and really wanted to do a feud like that, it was really enjoyable to work with him. I see him as a future Uni Champ for all the work he did.
We worked well together when we had to submit segments, and just trying to beat him at Leap of Faith had to get me out of my comfort zone, and I enjoyed it. Even a loss didn't worry me as we both had a great match.
Coming second would be Sarah. Because she's won the award before that's why I gave my vote to Wizard. He deserves it.

Voted Wizard here as it was a coin toss between Wizard and Lacklan. Ultimately went with Wizard as he’s been active over the last 2 months which warrants the vote. Lacklan busting back on the scene and owning LOF almost got it for me.

I'm a big fan of The Wizard's writing, and he's one of the main reasons I came to the XWF. He's doing amazing things with a character I wouldn't have expected that much of from the name. He's hopefully on his way to major championship gold in the future. I see the story version of Lacklan getting the vote for what happened at LoF, but that was one night compared to a strong month in my view.

I’ve recently just been snooping around and reading stuff this last month and following leap of faith, and I have to say that wizard has been extremely entertaining. Sarah Lacklan doing what she did with the cash in was fantastic and never done before and her rps and trash talk have been great, no way you can’t give that a shout out. But I think it’s not long before wizard makes a huge impact with the entertainment value of his rps, which have been great.
