In the beginning, there was the night
And then came the light
to brighten up the Universe
when all there was before it was dark
.Do we consider that there is only two things that make a difference in the world of today?
Black or White?
There are other colours sure, but in the world where racism is rife it effects mainly White people
and Black people and then others.
But the one moment in time that we are focused upon is Black and White.
Not Brown or White like here in New Zealand when the Europeans came to New Zealand to rid the Maori of all of their land.
But the main focus is hatred in New Zealand and in the United States and all over the world.
My main focus is John Black
But that must mean looking at the underlying issue here.
The underlying issue that as opponents we are not the same.
He’s American and I’m Kiwi.
He’s Black and I’m White.
I do not consider myself to be racist, but he brings that to the table on most occasions.
But the one moment in time is that he thinks the world owes him everything.
He even says it himself. He's a jaded militant.
He has the ghetto in him. He's from the ghetto life style.
He is gangsta. Or so he feels.
He has to make it about colour.
I won’t make it about colour but I’ll make it about vast differences between us.
Like I said there is Darkness – He is the darkness.
And there is the Light – I am that light.
I will come forward to take him down.
We may be equals but he’ll dispute that.
What is wrong and what is right?
Again opposites attract.
Wrongly or Rightly.
He wants a war I’ll bring it.
As the famous Michael Jackson says in his song
It’s not about races
It’s about faces and places
And at this moment in time we will be in Omaha, Nebraska locking horns.
Rightly or wrongly
Darkness and light
Good or bad
Left and Right
Black or White
He is John Black,
I am Mastermind
And at that moment in time, in Omaha, Nebraska it’s just the two of us going to War.
Is that what it’s all about?
When the going gets tough the tough get going.
I like that line.
But when no one gets going what happens then? Nothing.
You have to do something otherwise there is nothing that you can do.
Again opposites attract.
War and Peace
Something and Nothing
Black or White
Racism or non-racism
Does Corona Virus pick sides. No it doesn’t.
Nor shouldn’t we
But he’ll make it about race.
It’s not about race.
It’s not about him.
It’s not about me.
It’s about what this truly is.
A match.
Someone has to win if both sides give it a good even go.
