Let's Dance - Tony Santos - 06-12-2013 The scene opens with Tony pacing around the squared circle outside the enormous Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Jeremy is in tow, following Tony with his camera as Tony lets his five left fingers drag against the apron. Santos: This is pretty fantastic, don't ya think? They'll be over 80,000 people in this stadium in a matter of hours, packed to the walls, ready to see some awesome wrestling action. Quite a change of pace from my usual crowds of 30, most of which were really there to meet Jimmy Snuka or just so they could pull out the old Austin 3:16 t-shirt and yell at people that they felt better than for a few hours. These people are actually invested in the product. Invested in me. Unfortunately for them, they're forced to watch me in a match against a man with an odd fixation on Peter Gilmour and whose head seems to be stuck in Never Never Land, and a ninja who's fixated on a dream that he can't seem to find his way out of. They'll be legions of fans in this stadium, but it'll be empty to my opponents. Hell, they might as well lay down, close their eyes, and play the match out in their heads. Thankfully, I will be in this squared circle both physically and mentally tonight, and I will put on a show, as I have proven in my brief time in XWF. I can't save NeoNero and KnightMask from themselves, but I can't save the crowd from their own misery. Tony comes to a halt and looks back at the camera. Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for the Santos Salsa on the faces of NeoNero and KnightMask. Tonight, I rock the hell out of Oklahoma. The scene fades to black. |
