Who is your favorite XWF Character right now: - Chris Page - 10-23-2019
Curious to see what everyone's response it. Right now my favorite character in XWF is Centurion. He's been firing on all cylinders as of late and I can tell he's having a lot of fun with it. Who is yours?

That's like asking me to pick my favorite child. Ok, favorite cat.
I can tell you who I really like right now? And granted this doesn't even necessarily have anything to do with just writing ability (though these people can be very, very good) or that I think these are the "best" people in the fed right now. Although one puts up a hell of an argument. These are more or less characters I really jive with because they entertain me, or are particularly well thought out, or just have a fun character basis.
Prolonged explanation aside, my personal short list is Unknown Soldier, Noah Jackson, Tony Santos, and Thunder Knuckles (I really, really like the XBux gimmick).

I’m a big fan of Thunder Knuckles myself as well as Lux and Big D are roleplays I will go out of my way to read.

Flattery will get you...just about anything you want. Too bad I don't have a whole lot to hand out.
From a character perspective, my favorites right now are Ruby and Sarah Lacklan. I read as much work as I can. I always take the time to read Lux's stuff - I'm a big fan. I'm sure I'm forgetting folks, and I'll probably get a message from someone saying "You don't like my stuff?!". Yes, you're all great.

Of the older guys, I’m loving Cent’s stuff recently and so much so that I actually went out of my way to tell him privately. Page is solid as always. But getting to the “newer” guys and gals (IE New to me).
Lux is great. Always a fun read and someone who’s promos I look forward to.
Sara is good as well.
Noah always makes me laugh, and I’m honored to be working along side him.
Kieran Overton, a bit rough around the edges, but if they get sanded down watch out.

I honestly think it might be easier to make a list of people I don't like.
But in short, a top 5, in no particular order, at the moment may be: Fuzz, Lux, Tony Santos, CCP and Soldier.
Massive props to CCP who not only goes ham on great RPs but also does a dick load of work with match writing.
But my personal favourite of all time has to be the man, the myth, the legend, Darren Dangerous. It will be a beautiful day when his little moon face returns to this place.

Thanks for the shout-out, CCP.
As for me, it's hard because I don't get much time to read RPs other than my opponents' and the occasional random one here and there; so my opinion is moreso based on the character themself and things they've done on the shows themselves:
-Lux, because the RPs are good and I could see this being a very popular Indy wrestling gimmick.
-CCP, because I liked the whole invasion angle against Apex. It reminded me of when I left WWF for NWF and then a bunch of NWF guys invaded WWF.
-Noah Jackson, because of how ridiculous the character is in general.
-Lacklan, because as annoying as the gimmick is, the promos are good. Plus, if a character annoys the hell out of you, I'd say the writer is doing an excellent job.
-Thunder Knuckles, because the gimmick is so damn awesome. Like I told him on Discord, basically a reverse-Million Dollar Man.
To be fair, there's alot more talent than just what I listed. This Fed is by far the most talented I've ever been apart of.

Honestly I can find things I like about just about everyone. No one is without flaw, obviously, but I'm the sort of guy who goes out of his way to be pretty wide-ranging in what I think of as "good."
Is it great story? Biting shit talk? Awesome character work? Is it drama or comedy? Is it stunningly effective even in brevity? This is why judging stuff can be so god damn hard for me, because I would probably have everyone win all the time.
So, rather than try and say "these are my current favorites" and run the risk of people thinking I'm biased (I am, but only against Ghost Tank) I'll just say that Doc D'Ville is my all-time favorite, and I really wish the dude had more time to show us his skills. I've never liked an efed story more than the one he put together when we first came in, and the guy deserved all the hype he got.
