On reaching 250 days as defending Universal Champion. He's just 22 days out from The Engineers top spot.
8 months and 2 days worth of defending.
He's just going from strength to strength and still providing some great rps.
Anyway I've congratulated him privately, just wanted publically address it, as he deserves recognition.

I never go OOC, but thank you for the kind words. I'll continue to try to put out the best work I can. Working with APEX provides a ton of fun and makes writing much easier with a group of characters I've been allowed to use in rps. Now defending the Tag Team Championships and then round three with Page will be testing to say the least but I'm looking forward to that challenge. From day one my intention was to make this fed a better place. Playing a good guy isn't easy but I do like it. Again thank you and LUX everyone eventually gets a match for the Uni.

Yeah, I was just thinking back to "the old days", trying to figure out if anyone had a really lengthy reign. I know Jayzon Williams and Cooper had some pretty long ones, but I don't think either lasted longer than 8 months.

I think we also put the title up to be defended a little less often than previously, which is by design. IMO the Uni deserves build and therefore random shots at it should be rarified.

The way these new kids on the block hold the titles so long is a testament to the state of the roster now and the better part of the last decade. And it's not good. Not to mention how the roleplay rules have been rearranged to hold people down who have a life. Hopefully the people who matter see this before it gets deleted by the police.
I don't think it's about any era being better or worse than any other- I certainly don't find it offensive that this is seen as a continuation of the XWF of old. There are common elements still present and the recent works being done on the XX show and the show libraries show that there is still most definitely a connection to the XWF history.
Things have changed, absolutely, but that's not specific to this era - people from 1999 would see 2003 as a totally different ball game, and 2003 to 2006 was different again. Titles have come and gone, people have come and gone, styles and rules have changed and adapted with the times. That's not even an efed-specific thing, WWE changes over time as well. Ultimately even in the 'good old days' there were people who felt things were terrible compared to a specific previous era. I promised myself I wouldn't be one of those people back then, and I want to stand by that now.
Ultimately everybody here is having fun under the XWF banner, and I'm happy to see that continue and think we should encourage that and encourage people doing well. That's more important than us yelling at clouds because a few things are not as they once were.

Congratz, Bob! No mean feat, no matter what the circumstances. Unless you secretly are also all staff and have been handing yourself those W's, but even then: props for keeping this site running and pumping out those shows!
Shame we'll probably never meet in the ring as Ruby's Anarchy exclusive, but if you feel like popping up on the micro brand for a match or two, it'd be fun! Just saying. We can send each other our roleplays by carrier pigeon, if y'all want like in the GOOD OLD days. I'm sure Sarah can facilitate. Heck, we can meet irl, stand 100 feet apart with a nice fire in front of us and rp through smoke signals.
