Carving Out The Legend..! - The_Franchise Michael Graves - 11-13-2016 The scene fades into the outcome of Michael's debut from Wednesday's Warfare. Michael is standing in the center of the ring, just being defeated by Bear Braddock. Michael's voice breaks the silence of the scene. Michael: The aftermath of this past Warfare was one I will never forget, for the simple fact I was robbed of my victory and the opportunity to leave a first impression that meant something. Ms. Thorne, I did exactly what I told you I was going to do; I made an example out of you. Don't come into a man's sport expecting to have a positive outcome. It's not going to happen. Nostalgia, I didn't get a chance to play with you that much but maybe our paths will cross once again. For the time being, you are the least of my worries. But, you, Mr. Braddock, I just showed you firsthand that I fear nobody, no man. We stood toe to toe, and I got a kick out of it. I enjoy the pain. I enjoy the agony. But overall, you stole my win from me. Mine and your path isn't over, big man. Not by a long shot. You stole my opportunity to leave an everlasting impression on the XWF. As the scene breaks away from the aftermath of this past Wednesday's Warfare, it fades into the present. Michael is walking down a long, dirt paved gravel road. The sun is setting, marking the end to what had appeared to be a beautiful day. Michael: As I'm supposed to be making an impression, in all reality, you've made me out to be a liar. That's something I'm not. I'm supposed to be a star on the rising, not a fallen star. My story is far from over. I got a taste of what the XWF is all about. I want more. So, on the 23rd, I go to Paris, France, in the triple threat match. Against two rising stars, without a doubt they seem to be formidable foes. What happened before will not happen again. As I carve out my legend, wins and losses at this time don't really matter. But the pain I inflict, is somewhat like my calling card. It leaves an everlasting impression. Thaddeus Duke and Thomas Nixon, as we clash at the Accord Hotels Arena, I'm going to unleash my frustrations from the loss I've encountered on you two. I will not be denied my win again. I will go to any lengths I have to go to pull out the victory that is mine. If I have to play dirty, I will, to the extent of clawing out your eyeballs and shredding your face with my claws. It doesn't matter. Michael approaches a lake, stopping by an apple tree. He reaches up, plucking an apple from the limb and dusts it off on his sleeveless tank. Michael: My loss isn't going to effect my mental state of mind. It's only motivating me. Thaddeus Duke, Thomas Nixon, I don't really know either of you nor do I want to. I've seen your work and I applaud you on it, I really do. But you two pale in comparison to me. Bear Braddock, you are embedded in my mind. I think of you as a sore, dirty loser, to take a cheap shot from behind as you did this past Wednesday. The funny thing is, I would've done the same thing. Us, my friend, we are something unique. You and I. On the 23rd of November, at this Triple Threat match, we're going to steal the card. Knock it out of the park. You two nerds should know, I'm going to run straight through you and there's nothing you can or will do about it. I'm going to see what the two of you are made of. Are you willing to go that length? Because I am. See you guys in Paris. Michael reaches into his pocket as his cellphone begins to ring. He pulls it to his ear, starting to answer the call... the scene fades to black. |
