Enjoy yourself and enjoy what you're writing; the whole game is really just a huge heap of creative writing all flavored with pro-wrestling, meanness, and stuff like exploitation films, action-thrillers, and even comic books.
Don't cut off other players or tell them what they should be doing; they're doing their creativity, you have your freedom too.
Remember that 99.99% of the time whatever a character represents whoever is their handler generally acknowledges they are fiction, and wouldn't actually do some of the extreme stuff their characters do. Steroids in penis, etc.
