A Tribute To A Fallen All Black - Mastermind - 06-07-2015

A ra ra! Ka panapana, A ha ha
Lo, it is throbbing! A ha ha!

Ka rekareka tonu taku ngakau
Constantly delighting my heart

Ki nga mana ririki i pohatu whakapiri
with the small forces knocking together

Kia haramai te takitini,
May there be multitudes of them bursting in

Kia haramai te takimano,
thousands of them irrupting.

Kia paretaitokotia ki Rawhiti!
May they flow to the Eastern Sea.

Hi! Ha!

He mamae, he mamae! A ha ha!
Yearning, pining! A ha ha!

Ka haere, ka haere taku powhiri
My invitation goes out

Ki te Tai Whakarunga!
To the Southern Sea!

Hoki mai, hoki mai taku tinana!
Come back, come back to my body!

Ka haere, ka haere taku powhiri
My invitation goes out

Ki te Tai Whakararo!
To the Northern Sea!

Hoki mai, hoki mai taku tinana!
Come back, come back to my body!

I turn to the sea which Kupe raised up

To the sea which breaks at Gisborne!

The assailant in my arms is digging,

Kutia rawatia kia pari tona ihu!
He'll be squeezed, choked, until his nose is flowing!

Hi! ha! Aue ana! Kss! Kss! Hei!
Hi! Ah! Oh keep going! Kss! Kss! Hei

Kia whakanga hoki au i ahau
Now let me rest awhile...

I aue! Hei!
Oh! Ahhh!

Ko Ruaumoko e ngunguru nei!
Hi Au! Au ! Aue ha!
Ko Ruaumoko e ngunguru nei!
Hi Au! Au! Aue ha!
I aha aha

The rumbling of the Earthquake Demon
Hi Au! Au ! Aue ha!
It is Ruaumoko who trembles and stirs!
Hi Au! Au! Aue ha!
I aha aha

E ko te rakau a Tu-nga-werewere! I ha ha!
He toka whakairo e tu ake nei.
He atua! He tangata! He atua! He tangata, ho!
He atua, he atua, tau Paretaitoko.

It is the rod of Tu the Suspended One!
A sacred rod given by Tutaua to Uenuku.
It strikes the monster Rangitopeka,
It breaks Rangitopeka's head
Splitting the ridge of Hikurangi,
from where a carved rock emerges.
It is divine ..human ..divine ..human, Oh!
Divine! divine! strange Paretai-toko.

Kia kitea e Paretaitoko te whare haunga!
I ha ha! Kia whakatete mai o rei, he kuri! Au!
I Ahaha
Hi!
He roha te kawau!
Hi!

Paretai-toko sees the musky house
Ah ha! where the dog is ready to bite! Ah!
Ah, Haa!
In my ecstasy I see the sky enflamed
I gasp for breath! Ah!
A soaring cormorant !
Yeah!

Tapa reireia koi tapa!
Tapa kononua kaiana tukua!

The rod drives deep
Keep grinding, grinding away! Attacking!
Then the bellbird sings!
The sacred wind blows gently
like the food of the stars (clap)

]Upon reaching New Zealand after last week's disappointing week of losing a couple of matches, I was trying to relax with my fiancee Maria, when terrible news came through that former All Black Jerry Collins died on Friday night (Thursday afternoon French time) in a car accident in France. He was a great player. I watched him play many a times, and thought he was great. He will be missed by many.

"As you can see Maxwell Dane, I have not had a good week, or a good last few weeks, I have come up short and I need to refocus on things. I need to be better. I can be better. I will be better. I am better than what I have been. You are next in my firing line, and because of that, you should be very worried.

"The New Zealand sporting community has lost a beloved hero. Jerry Collins was an All Black, he was a Hurricane Super 15 player, a Wellington Provincial Player and he came from Porirua, Wellington. He was well liked around the country of New Zealand, and he will be missed. I did not know him personally, but I liked him as a sports star.

"I will take that mood into my next match, and you Maxwell are my next match."

Aue, aue, aue, hi!

"Maxwell Dane, you may be a creature that has come from the darkness, you maybe a creature that has come from the night, but you don't scare me. I am spiritually aware, mentally aware, physically aware that I can take you down. That I can beat you. That is my excellence of execution that I will be working on this week. To make a stand, to make a come back, to make me more appropriate,

"I have the wisdom, the knowledge, to take you down. You come from darkness. Well I am the guiding light. I've seen the overall light. I will shine brightly on you, and extinguish your black heart. Hear me now Maxwell Dane, because I am serious."
