I want to see us begin to put more value on the SOTM because in my opinion it's ranked up there with the Universal Title. Winning it basically says that the recipient stood out from everyone in the crowd. It's also one of the hardest ones to attain because you're after everyone's vote and not just 2 or 3 judges.
For the record, no one is limited to winning it just once. That's never been a rule. Azrael, Gator, Theo, or any other past winners are eligible for the award. You should vote based on who you feel performed the best (IC) for that month.
If you feel that there's an OOC issue with a particular candidate, then simply don't vote for them and keep that opinion to yourself or take it to the Bitch Session. We're voting for who does deserves the award, not for who doesn't deserve it.
The goal for the future is that me, Shane, and the GMs will start rewarding the winner as well. It's an award for stellar performance in the IC section so there should be some IC benefits to it. The reward will be totally in the hands of the GMs and can be anything under the sun. I don't think it should be the same thing every month because then it gets played out, I'd rather see some creativity being put into it.
I've already pitched a couple of ideas for rewards to the GMs. If you guys can come up with anything that you think would be cool, feel free to let us know.

Either way, I agree, as I think Theo or Samuels deserved it far more than myself. Would also like to see more people voting. Shouldn't be the same 10-15 every month.

It's not up to me to decide whether you or anyone deserves it or not. We've had winners in the past who I didn't think deserved it as much as other people but they still won since they had the support of the fed behind them. I should only have to overrule if the voting is too close or if there's an ooc issue that should prevent someone from winning it (ie: cheating).
