Apologies & Stepping Away - Great Buzzard Eli James IV - 12-17-2014
It's been a few rough weeks for me which is why I've been MIA. I really was excited for my match with Theo/Gilly for the title, but I ended up with a bad infection in my right arm Thursday and was in hospital Saturday night until last night.
I've done quite a few things here in the XWF and surprised myself. I had some good runs with feuds, stable(s), and was involved in some great angles. Keeping the character Eli around for almost 2 1/2 years and staying fresh was difficult, but I hope I entertained you all in some way.
It was always cool to hear people enjoy my work and something I did inspired an idea. It was fun and difficult writing for the character, and I had a blast.
All I will say is it's getting close for me to step away as Eli.
2015 will for the most part be Eli Free XWF.. what you all wanted haha.

Glad to have been a part of the legend of Eli, which made Justin and I. War Games was a lot of fun!
Hope to see ya around again, my friend. Oh, and, did you ever pick MVP for Team Eli? Cause, you know, I'm the logical choice, considering I didn't betray you, and all that. wink wink, nudge nudge.
I kid, I kid. It's done and over with, I don't really care. I enjoyed being on your Team, and I'm glad I didn't let you/your character down for GT's first PPV.

You have done some truly amazing things since you arrived here, including but not limited to:
Handling a plethora of interesting characters throughout the time you've been here, and taking especially Eli and Elisha to great heights!
Winning the Trio titles BY YOURSELF roleplaying as ALL THREE characters on a team that took the win in a huge match!
Decapitating both the original Shane
and "The Administrator" characters on the same night to become the new XWF owner!Vacating championships to the point that it drove some of the roster/staff insane and forced us to make a "no vacating titles" rule for you exclusively!
Helping out behind the scenes with shows even before stepping up as a GM to help out with Madness for the time you did, and helping to make sure the KOTR Madness was a huge success!
Helping out even more in other areas such as assistance figuring out board bugs and coding, being our lord and savior during the big server switch we needed very badly, and even donating $ to the fed during the server switch despite having already supplied us with incredible amounts of help!
I'm sure I could go on as these are just random thoughts right off the top of my head. You are the man, and regardless of being active or not will always be a major part of the XWF family!
