Is Randy Orton about to Turn Face - Mastermind - 11-04-2014

I didn't see it, but I just read about it. After Rollins beat Orton on Monday Night, Orton attacked him, Triple H, and Nobel and Mercury thus taking him out of the Survivor Series team Authority.

Question is. Is Randy Orton about to turn face?

Well, seeing as how Triple H and his rag- tag group are the heelish heels you can get right now, and since Orton attacked Rollins, I'd say yes.

Hell, the fact Orton was facing Rollins in the first place hints he's turning face!

re:Is Randy Orton about to Turn Face - Mastermind - 11-04-2014

I just read it on Wikipedia

Quote:The following night on Raw, Orton RKO'd Rollins thus defying the Authority for not controlling Rolling the previous week. On 3rd November RAW, Orton destroyed The Authority and turned Babyface before being Curb stomped by Rollins from the Announcers table and on the Steel Steps and he was carried in Stretcher after he sustained a Kayfabe injury so he can finish the filming of Condemned 2: Desert Pray.

So that answers my question.

He's not the worst, that much for sure. However, they shouldn't have him at the Main Event level like he's at. Maybe at the IC/ US title level.

I'm afraid I haven't been keeping up with WWE recently. How did he disgrace the US Military?

Quote: He had a United States Marine Corps tattoo on his left arm, but covered it up after receiving a bad conduct discharge when he went AWOL twice. He was sent home after serving 38 days in a military prison at Camp Pendleton.

The US military does a pretty damn good job of disgracing itself, guys. It's not Orton's fault.

While there is some truth to that, it does not make him going AWOL not once but twice any less disgraceful.

re:Is Randy Orton about to Turn Face - Vincent Lane - 11-04-2014

Sure, it's a shit thing to do, but it has no bearing on his wrestling character or storyline. He's good in the ring, bottom line. We let Mike Vick play in the NFL and Mike Tyson box, we let Kobe and Roethlisberger keep their jobs too.

But those are domestic cases. Domestic violence and going AWOL not once, but twice for the Marines are two entirely different things.

Also Kobe and Big Ben weren't actually convicted of anything. Though I'm fairly certain they were both guilty, especially Kobe since he settled out of court but neither of them were found guilty in a court of law.

And for the record, they are all pieces of shit. Kobe, Tyson, Ben, Vick, A.P, Orton, Santa, the Easter Bunny, all of them.

I'm not sure if you just mean that they aren't federal, but all of those guys were accused of criminal acts, not civil.

Yeah, no it's not.

Accused of an act and found to be guilty of it are very different.

Kobe was accused. Big Ben was accused.

Mike Vick and Mike Tyson were both found guilty and sentenced to jail.

A.P was accused and plead down so he was guilty of a lesser charge. Ditto for Ray Rice.

Randy Orton was guilty of going AWOL twice and spent 38 days in jail because of it.

Well this is sort of up for debate.

It depends on your views on our Military and Domestic Violence

A 19 year old kid running off from a military base on during peacetime isn't nearly as bad as abandoning a "band of brothers" during combat, either, but that's what you guys are kinda making it sound like happened.

The guy basically quit his job. I really don't think cowardice was involved as much as his desire to fuck around and be a general teenager instead of following orders.

Also, the people I mentioned didn't throw checkers, they committed rapes.

(11-04-2014, 05:35 PM)Fordo Swagkins Said: I didn't say they threw checkers, I'm saying a Domestic carries a wide variety of charges. But, going AWOL during peacetime or war time is still running away, and breaking an oath taken multiple times. Leaving during basic is one thing, but the sign up, go through basic, A-school, and then run away is a huge disgrace. Maybe I see it a lot worse because I was raised by a drill sergeant, and never really escaped the military life.

Yeah... no. If you can look at Domestic Violence in different lights according to the situation, you have to apply the same to every type of criminal act including going AWOL (peacetime vs. during combat - as mentioned above). I prefer the blanket rule for things like this though, so nobody gets into a slippery slope of saying things like there being varying degrees of rape and all that heinous shit (not saying anybody did here!) Domestic Violence is not OK. Ever. Even throwing checkers at your wife's face is not OK. That's breaking an oath too.
