SOTM October 2014 - Ozymandias - 10-30-2014 Hello everyone With the events for October now being complete it is time to make your case for the October SOTM. Please remember that along with your vote must be an explanation as to why you are voting for that person. If you vote for more than one person your votes will cancel each other out so please stick to just one vote. If you feel so inclined to throw additional names out there make sure to state that they are something akin to an honorable mention. re:SOTM October 2014 - Mr. Oz - 10-30-2014 My vote is for Frodo Smackins. When I came to XWF, he and I actually started out on the wrong foot. Since then, we've cleared the mess up and he, more than most, has actually made me feel very at home here. Not to mention that he seems to put in a lot of time and effort into making those weird ass promos. I love 'em. Still get a chuckle from one of his recent ones where he calls GT the "Jolly Asperger'd Giant". Fuckin' hell I nearly died when I first read that! As for an honorable mention: Justin Sane. From awesome banners to his promos, he has shown a great amount of work and detail in everything he has done, even when he was sick during War Games, he still managed to get a couple rps out. I hope to keep seeing great things from him. SOTM October 2014 - Ezekiel Carter-Williams V - 10-30-2014 LoverBoy, he's been consistently great since day one. He's the shizzzz re:SOTM October 2014 - Manson 'The Martyr' - 10-30-2014 Unfortunately, I will not be voting, since I am torn between the two I am voting for. Ghost Tank - A fucking MACHINE. He is by far the most prolific roleplayer I've seen and is always commenting about an idea he has for a rp on skype. He is literally oozing ideas. He's also trying extremely hard, which is paying off as his promos have become a lot better. Justin Sane - Amazing banners. Amazing debut. Nicely written rps as well as being coded to look cool. Consistent. There's a reason you caught the eye of EverTrust. Really nice guy on Skype too. Honourable mentions: Frodo, excellent teacher and amazing at trashtalk. I asked him to write me a 600 word trash talk for a collab confrontation with him and Soviet and he did it within ten minutes. Only reason you're not up there is because you've won already. LH, been there for me since I very first came here. He's doing so many things at once and has been very consistent with his rps. I really like your reports as well. Fantastic teacher. Morbid, excellent showing at Wargames and a great leader. Consistent rps. Again, would put you up there but you've already won so I want to give the others guys more of a chance ![]() SOTM October 2014 - ⤤⇝ℰⱱεℛℑȓųšƬ⇜⤣ - 10-30-2014 I'm still not sure if I look at this the same way you guys do but Maverick has caught my eye a great deal in the last month. Why? He's quite simply put one of the best natural roleplayers in this fed. His character feels like a wrestling character you'd see on television; his roleplays are incredibly well written and contain a great combination of story and character development—two qualities I've been told matter greatly here—and even his trash talk is very impressive. There's a reason I was targeting him the most last week when we were booked against each other, and it's because I knew the most about him and saw him as a major threat in the match. I wish he would have had more time to really get into it because it could have been a real head turner. Outside of RPs: even with the ridicule he receives IC on a regular basis in the news/fights boards, the accusations, the ribbing; he keeps on and always keeps in character. There's never a time when you can easily tell he's ticked off at you OOC through his IC responses, which is actually a fault a couple others here need to work on fixing. I even went as far as to invent an illusion in one of my roleplays that was intended to make people believe it was his character's brother, revealing considerable amounts of dirt on Maverick, and he rolled with it just as I knew he'd do. I would not have taken that risk with just anyone here because I know not everyone here would know how to run with that type of idea. The guy is a pro, wins more times than not, and knows precisely what an e-wrestler is supposed to be. Read his roleplays if you haven't already. I haven't seen one this month from him that has left me wishing I didn't open it. SOTM October 2014 - Peter Fn Gilmour - 10-30-2014 FRODO SOTM October 2014 - Vincent Lane - 10-30-2014 My vote goes to Evertrust. Yes, I know, don't bring it up. But seriously, he's held onto the X title for the entire month with some very entertaining kickouts, he led his team to victory at War Games, and has just generally been the toast of the town. It's legit. SOTM October 2014 - El Tiburón - 10-30-2014 Evertrust gets my vote. He's been spectacular in his RPs, kickouts and just general shit-talking. Really entertaining stuff. SOTM October 2014 - Gator - 10-30-2014 Darren Dangerous for SOTM! Or LH Harrison, dude's been consistent and entertaining the whole month, plus he helps out behind the scenes a lot. Also, Maverick and Evertrust have been great this month. Mav really surprised me with how much better he's gotten since his match with Todd. Evertust is cool, great kickout responses, great unique RPs, funny guy with trash talk that can make you feel insignificant. The whole package. SOTM October 2014 - LH Harrison - 10-30-2014 Well let's see here... there has been some fantastic work done this month, and it's hard to pick anyone in particular for this honor. However, I think the person who has been the most consistent/effective this month has been Evertrust. The dude's worked hard as X-Treme Champion. Although he may not pump out a numerous amount of RPs into a match, he makes the couple he puts out extremely thorough and highly detailed. Which, quite frankly, is what matters anyways. Evertrust gets The Inspiration's vote for STAR of the Month. Now kickout of that, Evertrust. ![]() Honorable Mentions go to... Justin Sane. For amazing banners, amazing writing, and just a cool dude. Ghost Tank. Jokes aside, this guy puts some serious work into his writing and has seriously improved from the first time he asked for 'feedback.' SOTM October 2014 - Doctor Louis D'Ville - 10-30-2014 I vote Evertrust. I've posted several pin attempts and he came back each time with a kickout as unique as I would've hoped. I enjoy very much the back and forth we have every so often. Along with all of the other ones he has randomly on the boards. Consistent, well spoken, and never lets us forget he's here. Honorable mentions go to two of my teammates from War Games, LH Harrison and Morbid Angel. I'm sure everyone in the fed did the best they were capable of that week, but I know for a fact that those two guys put in a lot of time and great work too. Kudos boys. Victory Forever. Also, another one of my teammates, Maverick. You came in and, pretty much, the entire fed took a big shit on you. You took it like a man and just fired back, along with putting in some great work. Kudos to you as well. Victory Forever. And, of course, Ghost Tank. I never really had a chance to give him too much feedback, but I can tell you he definitely seen his bar needed raised and he did just that. He's improved immensely and is involved quite often. Also, part of a winning team in War Games and participant in the KOTR Tournament. Kudos, my friend. SOTM October 2014 - Maverick - 10-30-2014 Wow... I'm shocked. I'm not trying to be a kiss- up, or anything like that, but I am genuinely surprised to see my name get tossed around as a nominee and as an honorable mention. I though I wouldn't be in the running, especially with my lackluster performance for the last Warfare and for War Games. I suppose all I have to say... is thank you. Now then, voting. I can't really decide, like Gein, since I'm torn between two people. Those two people really come to mind here: Gein and Ghost Tank. Gein, or Mickey Manson now, really busted his ass and came in with some excellent- and a large amount- of RPs for Wargames, not to mention, he didn't slack off on the last Warfare either. Considering the fact he's only been in for the PPV and for the last Warfare, that doesn't really change my viewpoint. Ghost Tank is a big name being tossed around here, and he only did one more show than Gein. Speaking of Ghost Tank, this guy came in without nearly any RP rust. Of course, he did mention that he'd been doing stuff like Dungeons and Dragons on the Skype chat for the past few years to fill the void, but... you know what I mean. Anyway, this guy is a bonafide badass, does excellent RPs, is just an all- around great person, and I think we should all expect him carrying some gold soon. As for honorable mentions, TrustInSanity comes to mind here. Evertrust did some very entertaining kickouts, and is still doing amazing kickouts, since he pretty much held the title for the whole month. Not to mention, he led his team at War Games, and he's done some very entertaining RPs. As for the other half of TrustInSanity, Justin Sane, same as Evertrust. He's been doing Grade- A RPs week- in, and still finds time to do some awesome banners. Not to mention, Justin is just an all- around helpful and great guy. May great things come to you all, honorable mention, or nominee! SOTM October 2014 - Justin Sane - 10-30-2014 Firstly, thank you to everyone who gave me an honourable mention. I was truly... Honoured. Secondly, my vote for SOTM goes to.... Tush! Yes, this is a serious vote. I come here to unwind and be entertained and there is nothing I find more entertaining than seeing that red-headed hunk put on those $2 shades and tell someone to "gt rekt". My honourable mentions are: Ghost Tank, who as everyone has mentioned is a prolific roleplaying machine. Evertrust, who's work is as stand-out as it comes, and not just because of his coding ability. His writing style is very unique and his performance at War Games & Warfare was second to none. "Loverboy" Vinnie Lane also gets a mention because I just love everything the guy does. Great character and very well handled. re:SOTM October 2014 - Gator - 10-31-2014 (10-30-2014, 11:03 PM)Justin Sane Said: Secondly, my vote for SOTM goes to.... Tush! Yes, this is a serious vote. SOTM October 2014 - Justin Sane - 10-31-2014 #lol SOTM October 2014 - JillLorder - 10-31-2014 My vote goes out to Justin Sane. His roleplays are so well-written and always entertaining. He is just truly phenomenal... and he makes me a bit jealous, lol. Honestly, I always enjoy reading his posts. He definitely had one of the most amazing debuts in this fed IMO. Such a talented and amazing individual. Honorable mention goes out to Vinnie. His roleplays never fail to make me laugh. SOTM October 2014 - Morbid Angel - 10-31-2014 Theo Pryce for taking the Uni and shocking the world! re:SOTM October 2014 - Mastermind - 11-01-2014 My vote goes to Evertrust for keeping the X-Treme Title for most of the month, and his kick outs. Honorable mentions to Gator and Loverboy for their War Games effort, they just kept on going and going, and they blended in with the NZ Lifestyle well. SOTM October 2014 - Theo Pryce - 11-01-2014 For me it's Evertrust. The rp's he did during the month were fantastic. His segments are always creative as are his kickouts on the X title board. Additionally he "plays the game" extremely well. And by "plays the game" I mean he says and does things to get people talking, whether it's to generate heat for himself or others. |
