The camera fades in to the Mansion of Mastermind, it finds him sitting in his chair facing the wall. He has just gotten back from War Gams, where his team The Masters, lost.
"I've always been told never to look back into your past, as you need to keep on moving forward in order to get better. In order to grown, in order to move on from mistakes, incidents, accidents that you have had in the past.
"For me I try to follow that line of thought, but there are times when you need to stop, take stock, and fix up the wrongs that you know worked against you. Well that leads me to this Wednesday Night, and who I am facing. I'm not worried about Ezekiel Carter-Williams V, well at least not at the moment, my main issue is my other Triple Threat opponent and that is Shelby Cobra."
Mastermind turns his chair around to face the camera.
"I'm not one usually for holding grudges, but being apart of the XWF you have to hold a grudge or two in order to succeed and keep on moving forwards and upwards. Bettering ourselves. Well my dear Shelby, remember a couple of months ago when you, the real Frodo and I teamed up for a shot at the Trios Titles. The Real Frodo and I gave it our all, and you were the weak link.
"You had been strong up to that point, but you were weak, and let us down. So I vowed whenever I got my chance to take you on again, I will do so.
"So come Wednesday I am turning up to win this Triple Threat, and I will take my anger out on you. Deal with it.
"As for Ezekiel, last week we were team mates, now we are opponents. I respect you, and what you did, but we need to move on and move forwards. I'm winning this week whether you want a shot or not. Stay back, stay out of my road against Shelby. She's mine. You can pick at the pieces after I'm done with her. That simple."
Mastermind smiles.
"For me to move forwards I need to stop and fix up a mistake, that mistake was Shelby, and therefore I will be moving forwards again after I place her in the Mind Controller, and then I will move on up, not looking back. Your mine Shelby, this Wednesday."
Mastermind turns his chair back around to face the wall. He starts humming. The camera fades out.
