OCD - Mastermind - 09-17-2014 Hey everyone thought I start a thread to see if anyone has any OCD - Obsessive Compulsive Disorders. I have heaps. 1: I need to keep a win/loss ratio in order to see how well I'm doing but that's just me 2: I never go below 3 quarters of a tank in my car, because I know I can afford at least $30 to $40 a week to top it up. But letting it drop below 3 quarters makes me stress out that I have to get it topped up again. I know, people tell me that it's a good thing to let the petrol drop all the way to empty, but me I can't, I won't do that. 3: I need to be on time for anything. I'm never late. I'm always 15 minutes to 30 minutes early. Only been late twice in my life. That felt real bad. My family know this OCD. They expect me to turn up early. One day I decided to test it, and I told my brother I'd be at his place at a particular time, but I decided to be about 30 minutes late. I turn up and he and his wife are panicking, and on the phone to my father to see if he or anyone else has heard from me because I'm never late. Whilst it was funny at the time, it does show people do notice when I'm never late. 4: I plan things out, I have a list that I need to do at anyone time, so if anything that interrupts that list I start stressing out. I've tried being off the cuff, but that's not me. It pisses people off. So there are some of my many OCD's. I could name a lot more but I won't. Anyone else have any? RE: OCD - John Austin - 09-17-2014 Well with me, for example: Currently I live with my grandma and its just her and I. If I go to the grocery store with her to help get groceries, while she is say looking at the canned vegetables, I will go over and align all the cans in the correct way with the correct price tag. This also goes for boxed items as well. When I do dishes and lay them out on the mat to dry, I always have all the cups / glasses lined up in a correct order. The utensils in one section grouped together, so forth. RE: OCD - Cain - 09-17-2014 My OCD is with video games. If it's a game that has a percentage, I have to get 100% or else I won't bother beating the main story. |
