Im sorry if this is already a thread but i just didnt see it. How do you put a video in your promos ?

A little help - Zoey Ryback - 08-27-2014

along the top of where you post is like a line of stuff for like your font and everything, down on the end is a little TV icon and when you click it, it opens a bunch of options you can post from youtube and a bunch of others, just copy paste the link in the box it brings up and it will automatically drop into your promos.

RE: A little help - Zoey Ryback - 08-27-2014

<< is the code

A little help - Atomsk - 08-27-2014

Alrighty, thanks a bunch man.

For youtube you also have these options:

The first one is a normal vid. The second one autoplays. The third one allows you to put the video ID (which I left in gray) from 1 video right after the = sign and then if you look closely the bracket ] closes and you can enter a 2nd YT video id which will then be another video. It will autoplay them both in a row!

A little help - Vincent Lane - 08-27-2014

Oh that third one is bad ass.

Can you make a string of them or is 2 the limit?

A little help - Neonero - 08-27-2014

Not to get too technical but you can also add ?t=s after the video code. Write the point in the video you want to start from after the =.

A little help - "Loverboy" Vinnie Lane - 08-27-2014

It's a limit of 2, unless the ID from the second one IS an actual YT playlist, in which case it will then cycle through the entire playlist in the order that YT has the songs.

That works with the built in board codes I showed?

I've played around a little bit and it seems not. However it is still possible, I did it here in 2013 and it still works. However that's using embed code not the shorthand built in.

A little help - "Loverboy" Vinnie Lane - 08-27-2014

If somebody wants that option bad enough in the board code, feel free to reply to the request thread that's in the "announcements & important info" forum and I will eventually get to it. There are also many handy codes mentioned in the first post.

This is the thread: http://xwf99.com/showthread.php?tid=315
