One day Mastermind decided that he wanted to challenge for the XWF Extreme Championship. He trains, He promos, He trains, and he promos.
The Match is to be inside a Steel Cage, and the only way out is by escaping through the door, or over the Cage walls.
Mark Flynn is inside the steel cage, when Mastermind rocks up outside the cage, and he looks in at Flynn.
"Mr Flynn I want that extreme belt of yours."
"No, no, not by the hair of my Flynny Flynn Flynn."
"I don't think you heard me correctly, I want that extreme belt."
"No, no, not by the hair of my Flynny Flynn Flynn."
"I'm not asking any more, I am going to come in there, and huff, and puff, and beat you to a bloody pulp."
"No, no, not by the hair of my Flynny Flynn Flynn."
"Not only will I huff, and puff, and beat you to a bloody pulp, I'm going to put you in my mind controller, and make you pass out, and then I'll huff and puff some more, and walk or climb out of there with the Extreme Championship around my waist."
"No, no, not by the hair of my Flynny Flynn Flynn."
The camera fades in to the mansion of Mastermind, but this time it fades in to his gym. In the middle of the gym was a huge steel cage. And in the middle of the steel cage sat Mastermind. He started clapping his hands.
"You're last promo rocked Flynny. I liked how you did that. Well as you can see I have a cage in my gym as well. And if you like delving into my past matches then surely you would have come across a couple of weeks ago I had a steel cage match against Ashe Dawson. I bet him twice. The second time was inside that steel cage.
"I consider Ashe Dawson an up and coming star here in the XWF. I was lucky to survive both those matches, but survive them I did. I'm a survivor. I wrestle to survive, and if I didn't think I could beat you for that title of yours then I wouldn't have called you out.
"Now I know how much a steel cage can hurt, can turn careers on their heads. Can turn a match just like that."
Mastermind clicked his fingers.
"The steel on the skin can be harsh, if you get your face or body in the middle of the mesh of steel then it can be bloodied. You don't think I can lay a finger on you Flynny do you? You think you are going to have an easy ride. Trust me when I say you won't get an easy ride."
Mastermind gets up and walks over to the door of the cage.
"As you well know Flynny the only way to win is to walk through this door. Or climb out over the walls. How good would that feeling be to climb out and jump out on the other side.
"You may have a whole heap of Cage Matches Flynny, but it's this one that counts. We all know how good you are, we all know how good I am. Apart from some botch up in the past week or so, I'm that dam good.
"Whether you don't see that is your problem, it's going to be your downfall if you don't see me as a threat, or don't treat me like a threat. I want that dam belt, and I'll do anything to get it. Anything."
Mastermind starts climbing the wall of the cage, he gets to the top and straddles the wall, and looks down at the camera.
"You're time is coming to an end as Extreme Champion. You've been a great servant to the title. But you've gotten stale and I'll be happy to remove that title from you."
Mastermind climbs down the other side of the wall, and then halfway down, jumps to the ground, he walks around the side of the wall to be in line with the camera.
"You can blaspheme me all you want between now and the match Flynny, you can attack me because of my past matches and how weak I was in some and how horrible I was in others, the ones that count. Yes, I have lost the important matches, and yes I have won some matches against no names. Let's not harp back at those, because it gets repetitive. You get repetitive.
"What counts is this Wednesday Flynny. What's going to happen is we are going to have an enormous fight. We are going to go to war. I know how much you hate me using war terminology but that's the way it is. So after all that said and done, after I knock you out using my Mind Controller move, I will climb to the top of the cage, and I will climb out, or I will just use the door, whatever takes my fancy, and then I will become the new XWF Extreme Champion. And you'll just have to wear it.
"You'll wake up and see me on the outside of the cage and go.... "Not by the hair of my flynny flynn flynn."
"And then you'll realize in horror that it's too late. What ya going to do then Flynny?"
Mastermind walks away and looks at the cage, and starts humming.
