They Won't Laugh Anymore(Rp 1) - Cain - 06-23-2014 The brooding individual known as Cain could feel his powers fading. He didn't know why though. It was as if something inside him was lost. As I speak to you, the viewer, Cain spends the better part of his post match sitting on the table in the trainer's room. A room which is actually quite plesant. Of course, The Master of Pain has great trouble enjoyimg such plesantry as his swollen left knee throbs with pain. Hindsight attacks from traitors to the knee have a tendency to do that. But to Cain, this sensation of pain was new. Something he definitely wasn't used to. No, he was used to being able to heal instantly. But it seems that the Last Son of Eden has lost something. Surely he'd beaten Waylon. But a string of losses before that and this recent loss of his prozed championship set him to thinking. Something wore heavily on his mind. He looked down at the trainer and winced as the man bandaged his swollen knee. The Beast growled. "...." Doctor Jason Andrews looked up at the former murderer, feeling his eyes staring a burning hole through him. He could feel fear shoot down his spine, but he continued to bandage, doing his job. "Not much longer, Cain. You're gonna have to put some ice on this, and likely take some anti inflammatory drugs." "Anti inflammatory drugs?" The Last Son of Eden thought. He grimaced as the Doctor pulled the bandage tight. Though his knee was swollen enough to keep it tight. You might say he was man handling the once immortal Cain. But Cain wondered silently... "...what happened to my power? Where did I go wrong?" (You went soft for them) He heard a demonic whisper state, matter of factly. "....." "You should probably take a few weeks off to let this heal, Mister Cain. After all, if it gets any worse, your career could be over." (All because you went soft. Furthermore, you trusted that negro. Did Morbid Angel teach you nothing?) ".............." Maybe that was his mistake. Maybe that was where he'd gone wrong. The teaming of he and Swagmirebhad scared the New World Order into hiding, but at the same time, they began to cheer him. He watched the Doctor move over to a cooler, pulling out a vial. Doctor Andrews moved over to a drawer and pulled out a freshly wrapped needle. "This should help the swelling. But as I've said, you should probably take a vacation. I know you have a match with Steve Davids, but I'm sure you don't want to risk your career over said match. Yes?" "...no. The match with Davids will happen. And I will beat him." "No..." said Doctor Andrews, pulling the clear Cortisone up into the syringe. "...not if I don't medically clear you!" "Lower your tone, mortal." (DO NOT let him speak to us like that, Prince.) Hearing the voice call him that? Well, noone had called him that in forever. Not even Lillith. Not since the whole thing where those mortals began chanting his name. Doctor Andrews shook his head and tapped the needle. Cain felt anger buring inside of his soul as the Doctor neared him with the "drugs". Once again, he thought back to before his match with Luca...where he'd never touched methamphetamines. Even before Miako's grandpa where he had smoked pot. His eyes flashed but an unbelieving Doctor Andrews neared him still...not even scared. (You haven't been yourself for a long time, Demon Prince. And not facing SteveDavids? That will make you look even worse by comparison. You will be perceived as a coward, Cain. People already laugh at you behind your back. Do you not hear them? "Cain's a loser!", "Cain lost his power!","No need to fear Cain! He's just a pussy!") He felt the anger boil within the furance of his stomach. Like a fire burning. Legion's words were true. Very sadly so. He growled at Doctor Andrews, claws digging into the bed as the man neared his knee with the needle, something...snapped. Cain's large right hand shot out and wrapped it's taloned fungers around Doctor Andrews wrist, preventing him from getting any closer with the needle. Andrews' struggled a bit against the grip of the Last Son of Eden but to no avail. Cain was coming back. Stronger. Darker. More powerful than ever. As Doctor Andrews looked up into the eyes of Cain, he could swear that he saw the fires of hell in his obsidian eyes. Tears formed in the eyes of the doctor, but Cain remained motionless, a vacant expression on his face. "Please Cain! Let go! We're not in character right now!" "..." The silence from The Last Son of Eden was deafening. He was listening to a higher power now. He could feel their prescense as Andrews begged him. The precense grew stronger, the more fear that showed in the eyes of the Doctor. Jason Andrews once again begged. "Please let go...I have a family..." "I. Do. Not. Care." The young doctor let out an anguished scream as Cain squeezed his wrists. Muscles tearing. Bones grinding against each other. The sounds were disgusting, but Cain's lips twisted upwards in sadistic glee. He stood, tilting his head as he watched the human suffer. (Do it Cain. Finish him. Feed. Reclaim your power!) "With great pleasure..." With a single motion, Cain slammed the human against the wall, then RIPPED his shoulder ball from his socket. Despite the jokes he could have made, he threw the full arm into a nearby table full of steroids, knocking it over. Andrews slumped against the wall, covered in blood and tears. And piss. "Oh my god! Someone help!" Nurses rushed to the door, but Cain flourished his hand toward said door. The door SLAMMED in the face of the rescuers, who beat on the door. "Please Cain...no...let me go...tak-" "Call me God." He would have. For the more Cain embraced the darkness in his soul, the more powerful he became. The Last Son of Eden's grin faded into a look of hatred. He slammed the heel of his boot into the head of the Doctor. The poor man's skull shattered into a million pieces and Cain felt a sudden calm as Legion spoke words of encouragement. The tightly wrapped bandage around his knee fell to the floor as the apendage healed within seconds. He turned his nose up at the dead mortal. "They will know me as a God. Filthy humans." As his focus wained from the door, the nurses and orderlies finally beat the door down. However, what they found was the crucified body of the good doctor in a blood covered room. Of course his head was missing. However, Cain had found something. Something noone ever wanted him to find again. -Fade To Black- |
