Chris Macbeth has been put in a matchup to face off against Phoenix Regal in the American Airlines Center, Dallas Texas on Monday Night 23rd September 2013.

Is he ready for his second match since his return to the ring? Will be victorious after losing his return triple threat match to Casey Jones? The man himself seems to think so claiming that the only reason he was not victorious in that return match was because of the interference by Tony Santos.

Is this just sour grapes from Chris Macbeth though, Casey Jones is a very good competitor and he has proved time and time again that he can step into the ring with the best and even defeat the best. It is true, better men than Chris Macbeth have fallen at the hands of Casey Jones before.

Lets just wait and see what happens on Monday Night, see if Macbeth was really ready for his return to the ring.

Lets hope he has been working hard.

Chris Macbeth is laying on his sofa with the smell of bacon drifting in from his kitchen where Faith is cooking him up some breakfast. The hangover from hell is in full force and today seems to be another write off as he and Faith’s new found partnership and party life styles keeps rolling on like a runaway train with a never ending track with no stations in sight to get off and get back on the straight and narrow.

Eventually Faith returns from the kitchen with a plate of bacon and scrambled eggs and a big smile on her face. She enjoyed the fact that she doesn’t seem to be suffering as Macbeth is despite going drink for drink with him all night. She would wind him up calling him a light weight, saying he cant handle his drink when in reality he did actually drink a lot more than her. About halfway through the night they were still going drink for drink but Faiths Gin and Lemonade gradually turned to just Lemonade all while Macbeth had just carried on knocking back Vodka after Vodka until the early hours.

Macbeth sits up on the sofa and Faith hands him the plate and a knife and fork and he begins to tuck into to his hangover cure as he would call it. Fuck me though he was right, bacon is the cure of all hangovers, period. Faith returned to the kitchen and came back a few minutes later with her own bacon sandwich. Macbeth would have a moan at her ”What you need that for, didn’t think you were hung over?” He was always a sarcastic twat in the morning or at least that is what Faith would call him. Macbeth really wasn’t a morning person. It probably stems from the time he was in a the band and touring the world and partying until the early hours. He isn’t in the band anymore but as this hangover would suggest he hasn’t stepped back completely from that life despite his now affiliation with Nightmare and the ordeal that went along with it.

It had been a few weeks since he had spent anytime with Nightmare. It was difficult. When Macbeth was under the mask as Nightmare apprentice he was a different person, the power the mask had over him had turned him into a demon like his friend. However now he has removed his mask he is back to normal, there is little he and Nightmare really have in common. Nightmare tries to urge Macbeth to sort out his life the way Nightmare attempted to help him do previously and Macbeth urges Nightmare to remove his mask and free himself completely from the shackles of the order of the night demon. This is something that he knows Nightmare has thought about but the demon is conscious that if he removes the mask it will remove the fear that the bad people he had visited over the years and thus reversing any positive impression he had made on them causing them to return to there old selves and bring chaos back to the world. Macbeth though would like for his friend to be normal again, he wants him to enjoy his life as Macbeth is himself. ”Your stuck in your ways, let your self go, be free, remove the mask.” Macbeth would say to the big man, One day maybe. One day.

Macbeth flicks on the television and he and Faith sit watching as they eat there breakfast. Macbeth thinks of his plans for the day. Breakfast, shower, dressed, training... The he thinks about what he is actually going to do today. Breakfast, shower, changed, lay on the sofa watching the television. He knows Faith won’t be happy with this but he has a plan. Faith is a big fan of shopping and Macbeth has a spare couple hundred dollars in his pocket that should distract her from his laziness for a few hours. Plus the Bears are playing the Vikings so he wants to watch that later anyway.

There was a major flaw in Macbeth plan that was kindly pointed out by Faith when she asked Macbeth what time he was heading out today. As he planned he just said a little later then handed her the cash and told her to go out shopping if she wanted. She was thrilled with this as he knew she would be but the issue that arose was Faith reminding him not to go back to sleep and miss his flight to Texas for Monday Night Madness. Crap, he completely forgot or didn’t realise in his still slightly drunk and hung over state that it was Sunday, he has to fly out later today. So much for a chilled day in front of the TV he thought to himself. So Faith gives his a smile a kiss on the cheek and then hurries out of the apartment with the money buried deep in her bag ready to go crazy all over downtown Chicago’s shopping malls.

Macbeth reaches over and grabs his pack of cigarettes and lights one up and with a sigh he leans back onto the couch feeling dejected and lazy. There is nothing worse they getting your hopes up for something then realizing there is something else that is going to ruin that plan. It’s like waking up and thinking it’s the weekend when it is actually just Thursday. It sucks, it really does.
