|-| Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The City of Brotherly Love. The Birthplace of Extreme. The place where Monday Night Madness is about to go to the XTREME. Madness General Manager Paul Heyman has returned to his second home and he’s brought with him a number of XWF Superstars who are more than willing to go to the types of extremes that the Philadelphia audience is expecting to see. Matches like Jonny Rebel taking on Hunter Payne in a Falls Count Anywhere match. LJ Havok stepping into the ring one week before his chance to unthrone The King when he takes on John Austin in a Two out of Three Falls match. And, in the main event, a match that is sure to stain the Wells Fargo Center in blood, Shawn Steele is going to get his hands on former Connection member Andrew Aldway. If the past two weeks are any example of what we can expect when these two superstars finally face off, you can expect to see led pipes, crowbars, and pretty much anything else they can find to inflict damage upon each other. And there’s always the chance that I-Evertrust will see fit to extract a bit of revenge on Andrew Aldway. Or has he already done so? |-|

Viking Hall. The ECW Arena. THE Arena. It doesn’t matter what you call it, every wrestling fan knows the building you’re talking about, and it’s in front of this infamous warehouse that we find Shawn Steele standing, leaning actually against the door, spinning the crowbar in the same fashion that was lost saw him.

Shawn Steele: Ultimately, I’m a fan of our industry. It’s the reason I sought out Roddy Piper in the first place. And what happened behind this door .. what was created by “The Mad Genius”, I was a fan. Raven. Tommy Dreamer. New Jack. Mike Awesome. Taz. Sabu. Terry Funk. And, a man who I’ve got the utmost amount of respect for, “The Franchise” Shane Douglas. These are the names, along with Paul Heyman, who have made Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the mecca for hardcore wrestling. The birthplace of Extreme. So when Paul Heyman brings XWF Monday Night Madness to Philadelphia, when he dubs this the night that Madness will go Xtreme, you can bet your ass that every single XWF Superstar on tonight’s card is going to show Paul Heyman that they can go to extremes that even he didn’t think possible. From the curtain jerkers like Jonathan Thomas Cross and Mr. Radio all the way to the main event. The main event when I step into that ring with Andrew Aldway .. and I fucking rip him limb from limb .. I’m going prove to Mr. Heyman that when it comes to going to the extremes .. going beyond the extremes, no one in this company .. IN THIS BUSINESS is willing to go to the lengths that I’m going to go to. That I’m capable of going to. That I WILL go to. Tonight.

Leaning away from the door, Shawn turns slightly before pushing it open and walking into the dimly lit building. Instead of finding a wrestling ring, we see that there’s an MMA cage set up in the middle of the former ECW Arena. Never the less, Shawn Steele, still carrying the crowbar, walks into the building, slowly looking around. His back to the camera, Shawn slowly moves his head, taking in the entire building, seeming to stop and focus on the infamous balconies for a moment as he speaks.

Shawn Steele: It was inside these walls where Paul Heyman gave a new meaning to the word extreme. A meaning that has stood strong for all these years. When it comes to this business, this building is what personifies the extreme. But tonight that changes. Because tonight, the new House of Extreme is going to be the Wells Fargo Center.

Turning to face the camera now, Shawn continues.

Shawn Steele: And frankly I’m happy about that. Because this piece of shit bingo hall wouldn’t be able to contain what I’m going to do to Andrew Aldway tonight. This match isn’t confined to those four corners. Instead, I’m going to smash Aldway’s head into every fucking surface in that building tonight. What happened inside of this sorry excuse for an arena .. what happened in this “hallowed ground”, will pale in comparison to the hell that is going to befall Andrew Aldway tonight. And that, is a promise.

Shawn again turns, his attention seemingly captivated by the balconies that have been used to launch concrete bodies to the concrete floor below. The scene begins to fade slowly just as Steele begins nodding his head.

The scene only remains dark for a matter of moments before it begins fading up again. This time we find ourselves inside of the Wells Fargo Center, where Monday Night Madness is just moments away from getting XTREME. We’re backstage, various XWF Superstars and crew members are going back and forth but they aren’t the focus. Instead, our attention is drawn to two men, Chad Lewis and Shawn Steele, standing in front of a hanging XWF logo in a makeshift interview area. The two men share an uncomfortable silence for a moment before Lewis gets the signal and with a quick nod, the interview begins.

Chad Lewis: Shawn Steele... tonight you step into the ring with Andrew Aldway, “The Barmy Brit”, in the main event of Madness. Now we just heard from Mr. Aldway earlier today, and he had som.....

Shawn grabs the mic, pulling it down and stopping Chad Lewis in mid sentence.

Shawn Steele: Shut. Up. I saw what Aldway had to say. I don’t need it repeated, for the thousandth fucking time.

Chad Lewis: Well if you’ve already seen what Mr. Aldway had to say.... your response?

Shawn Steele: What response should I have, Lewis? I mean I can understand there’s a bit of a language barrier going on here. The barrier being that while Andrew Aldway has trouble speaking proper English, he has an even tougher time understanding it. I don’t remember calling him a 'broken record player’. Now I’ll admit, that line about something getting through my think skull, besides a led pipe? That was clever. But then you followed it up by calling me 'an invalid’? Do you understand the meaning of the word? Granted, I’ve.. on occasion, been told I’m not exactly mentally stable. But that hardly makes me an invalid. And if we’re going to talk about a failed mental state ....

Chad Lewis: I don’t mean to interrupt, but it seems you’re getting a little off track here.

Shawn Steele: Off track? Let me ask you a question, Chad. When I called Andrew Aldway a broken record, what did YOU think I was referring to?

Chad Lewis: You were referring to the fact that Mr. Aldway, among others, have claimed that you’re ... well, big and stupid.

Laughing, Shawn slaps Chad on the back of the shoulder.

Shawn Steele: See Andrew?! It’s not so hard to understand. Even Lewis here was able to figure it out. But you? Jesus are you stupid. Andrew Aldway calls me big and stupid. I tell him to get some new lines and how does he respond? By calling me big and stupid. And you wonder why I called him a broken record. But that was just the beginning of his asinine diatribe. Well, I guess it’s the same asinine diatribe that he’s been on since he first mentioned my name. But the funny thing Chad .. the funny thing is Andrew Aldway never fails to expose his own lack of intelligence every time he opens his mouth.

Chad Lewis: Now I think one could say many things about Andrew Aldway, but lacking intelligence doesn’t seem to be one of them.

Shawn Steele: You know what Chad? Maybe you’re right. Maybe it’s not a lack of intelligence. Maybe, just maybe, Andrew Aldway is a smart guy. Maybe he’s just a lazy prick. Can’t take the time to think up his own, original lines. Instead he’s got to stea.. borrow, the same lines used by everyone who’s ever stepped into the ring with me. And when I’ve already heard this same drumbeat from Swift Ion .. well maybe Aldway needs to take the time to think up some new material. And while he’s at it, he can take five fucking minutes to do a little research on his opponents. Hell, I was sitting right across from you when I explained, for perhaps the third time, that I don’t need the money. When it comes right down to it, I’ve probably got more money than Ricky Desmond. But Andrew Aldway said it himself. He’s just here because he needs the money. The only reason he’s in the X-treme Wrestling Federation is because he’s not talented enough to make it any other way. And, I’m sad to say that if this .. if fighting is your best talent Aldway, well you’re going to be out on the streets quicker than your mother was. So you bring your led pipe. Bring everything in your little bag. Because you’re going to need it all tonight. Not to win. No, that ship has sailed Aldway. You’re not winning tonight. Your goal tonight is survival. From the moment that bell rings, your life is on the line. And maybe .. just maybe, you’ll make it out of Philadelphia alive tonight. But I can promise you this. You’re not going to make it out in one piece. So bring your pipe. Bring everything you’ve got. Because tonight .. tonight your blood is going to stain the halls. They could use a new paint job anyway. I’ll see you soon, Andy.

Steele grabs the microphone by it’s XWF logoed box, shoving it forcefully back into the chest of Chad Lewis before he turns, walking back towards the locker rooms as the scene fades away.
