PHILADELPHIA part I
The day outside is bright and sunny in Philadelphia, the home of Monday Madness in a few days. Waldo's been quiet and, oddly enough, hasn't been seen since being eliminated by Jessica Diaz.
Begin The Narrator
Tyler spent all his days as a student the same way he started out in elementary school. He never changed much, except for his appearance that is. He didn't partake in many sports, but did try to start a chess team for his high school. The chess team idea never took, and that was his career as an athlete somewhat.
Tyler barely studied. He didn't have to. He just happened to be very intellectual by birth. It's as if God, the Universe, or what ever brings about life had brought Tyler into this world with a smart mind.
End The Narrator
Waldo is a hotel room, in a new city, with new faces, and a broken heart. He has his cell phone up to his ear.
"There's so many beautiful girls here. I just thought that destiny brought me and Jessica together. I was in the Battle Royal match, and she was in the Battle Royal match, and I thought it was perfect. It's like someone wrote the movie. The movie was suppose to go:
Thirty superstars fighting for the opportunity to face John Madison for the King of the XWF Title. Waldo enters at number one. He eliminations number two, number three, and on it goes. Number thirty comes out. It's Jessica Diaz. All who are in the ring are battling to the death. Just then, Waldo eliminates a person. Jessica eliminates a person on the opposite side. The two slowly walk back towards the center of the ring. The crowd goes silent. The announcers exhale slowly. Waldo and Jessica bump each other's back. They quickly turn around to see who it is, because it's a fight after all. Their eyes lock. Then, over the speakers you hear...
There's not a dry eye in the place! A far camera view shows the crowd sitting and anticipating the next move. A quick zoom on the faces of Waldo and Jessica. Smiles across both of their faces. Waldo looks at her square in her eyes and says the words, "I Love You". People cheer. Waldo walks back and eliminates himself for the love of his life. Girls are crying. Guys are seeing how it's done. Everyone sees it thanks to the X-Tron.
Jessica is announced the winner of the battle royal. The people cheer. Waldo walks back in the ring. He gets a microphone and gets down on one knee. He asks Jessica for a date and she says "Yes". Everyone erupts in cheers.
She helps change Waldo. The two fall in love and get married and-and. Wouldn't that have been better? Now isn't that how it should've gone? It would have been epic. It would have been perfect!"
Waldo finishes sounding excited, but gets a little down in the dumps.
But she eliminated me. That's what I get for wearing my heart on my sleeve. Maybe I'll give her another chance? It can still happen!
Do you think it can happen?"
Siri "I'm pretty sure it won't. Sorry, Waldo."
"Oh, what do you know Siri!? Stupid phone.
A text message comes in on his phone. It's XWF headquarters announcing Waldo is facing Hunter Moore on Monday's show. He notices Jessica is not announced to be there. He just looks at Siri upset.
"Just because she isn't announced doesn't mean she won't be there Siri! So, ha. I'm going to show her I'm a man. I'm gonna hurt Hunter Moore. I'm gonna destroy Hunter Moore. That's how I'll prove my love to her.
I'm so depressed."
