This scene opens up to Andrew standing in the hallway of The 02 World Arena, he wipes the sweat from is brow with a white towel while he stands silently by himself, still in his wrestling gear. Backstage workers are running back and forth in front of him as he just stands there, seemingly oblivious to all the action going on around him, until Chad Lewis makes his way over with a microphone in his hand.
"Andrew, The Connection has once again proven here tonight they will do anything and everything to get noticed around here, beating down The Incredible People before your match. Don't you think that dilutes your group's victory?"
Andrew scratches his chin as he ponders the question.
"You know what Chad, I hadn't really thought about that. I mean you bring up a good point, so I'll give you a very simple question, no. It's clear to everyone in the XWF we could've won that match without the shenanigans, but what we want the XWF roster to realize is we don't care. Plain and simple, we are here to take over, not win matches, wins and losses are irrelevant in this industry. I mean look at Luca, he lost his, I guess you'd call it his match at the pay per view, and he's still in the main event this week."
Chad nods his head up and down like he understands.
"OK point taken, so what's next for The Connection, and will all of you be involved in next weeks tournament in Singapore to determine the next number one contender to Sid Feder's European Championship?"
Andrew stops for a moment as a backstage worker quickly walks between the men and the camera.
"Well really Mr. Lewis those are two very different questions that may share a common interest, or may not, I'm not going to indulge our plans to you. So I'm not going to answer for the rest of The Connection, but I'll tell you right now that I most certainly will be here next week. And whether my opponent is a twit like Luca Arzegotti, or a half wit newcomer like Mr. X-Raided, myself and the rest of The Connection, one way or another, will dominate this tournament from beginning to end."
Another worker walks between the camera and Andrew grasps the man by the scruff of his shirt as he walks by.
"Hey, can't you see I'm busy? Next time walk around you pathetic berk."
The man looks startled as Andrew let's him go and he quickly scurries from camera view with his head down.
"Now where was I? Oh yes, but let me make something perfectly clear to all you idiots out there who think if the situation arises I will play Luca, or bitch, to any of my brothers in The Connection, you all need to realize none of us would ever do that, simply because we are real men, unlike The Black Circle and real men take care of their business, and if.... No sorry, WHEN, it comes down to The Connection, the best man on that night will win."
Chad goes to take the microphone back towards himself, Andrew grabs his wrist and pulls the microphone from his hand.
"I wasn't done yet."
Chad, looks intimidated and nods blankly as Andrew turns back to the camera and continues.
"Now Luca I know you're going to see that as a shot at you, but don't get me wrong, not only is it a shot at you, but also at your duffer king. See if he was a real man he wouldn't have let you lay down for him, just like if you were half a man you never would have done it in the first place. But that's enough of that half wit, I'm sure he'll have lots of rubbish to spew in The Connection's direction in the upcoming week so I'll have lots of time to discuss him and his usual hypocritical stupidity, so if that's all Mr. Lewis I'd like to thank you for your time.... Actually, shouldn't you be the one thanking me?"
He looks over to Chad who once again nods blankly, as Andrew thrusts the microphone into his chest.
"Th....... Thank you for your time Mr. Aldway."
Andrew smirks and walks out of camera view.
"This has been Chad Lewis with an XWF.com exclusive with Connection member Andrew Aldway, tune in next Monday night for the Madness tournament to determine the new number one contender to the European Championship."
The camera fades out to black.
