Ballad of Mr. Radio III Act 2
All six of us were looking for any possible way to get out of the room. WE tried kicking, Varen running into a wall, Hell even Trying to break the ceiling. Nothing was working, we just couldn't find a way out. We started to hear Father over the intercom and he began to say that he knew that we all escaped the shackles but he he's pretty sure that we will never leave. He turned it off and then we started to hear a spray like noise. It was coming from a vent that Father had just generated into the room. McLauson grabbed Griffins Command tags off of his corpse and he put it in his pocket and smiled. He ran at the wall the vent was on and Drop kicked it. It was actually beginning to crack the wall. McLauson started to explain that this is happening because the Gas that he is letting in the air is one that will destroy our lungs, it's one that will cause Everything in our body to become frail in about 2 hours. Eventually everything will become frail and all of our organs will also become frail and our heart will stop.
Without warning Varen started to ram the wall, doing a massive amount of damage. We helped out by kicking it. After a minute or two the wall finally disappeared and we snuck out. Thankfully since the wall was not made with any material that would shatter and make a bunch of commotion, it was a special Flokyokian wall that just disintegrates if broken. Shawn went up next to me and told me that he still has two knives in each boot that they didn't check for. He gave me his spare knife and we both took point. There was a corner and I got up next to it and peeked around it to see if there was any soldiers on the other side. There was one patrolling the hallway. I let out a slight whistle to get him to come over here. when he got close enough I spun around him, got him in the sleeper hold and dug my knife in it's under chin.
We continued down the hallway until we saw the door to the armory on the right side and the shuttles just a bit north. I asked everyone if they wanted to get their equipment, I mean we could all just get new equipment but some of us did have some special stuff. Shawn, Scarecrow, and McLauson said that they are going in the armory with or without everyone else. Varen tried to argue saying that, that is stupid there are probably a couple dozen in their! Chris Drake sided with Varen on this one. We had to make up our minds quickly. I told Varen to go quietly steal a shuttle and go back to Gado with Chris Drake. He just looked at me and patted my shoulder and him and Chris took off. Before opening the door I took a deep breath and put my hand on the switch. I looked at Shawn, He nodded his head. We all ran into the armory. To our surprise there was no one in there. We started to look around to find our equipment. When everyone found their equipment, A hologram of Father popped up in the middle of the room. He began to say that he is going to allow us to live for now but he said that he can't just allow us to steal a shuttle, he paused for a couple seconds. He continued to say that if they wanted to not be killed that we could just go back to the cells and he "promises" to give us food every day. I yelled at the hologram to go fuck himself. All four of us walked towards the shuttle bay and when we got there, They had a Knocked out Varen and a still awake Chris Drake. Father came around the corner and told us that we had one chance. then he shot Chris Drake in the head. and kicked Varen to the ground and put his foot on his back and pointed his gun at his head.
I started to fire my gun at him and Father ducked and ran like a little bitch back to his little quarters. We all ran behind some boxes and started to shoot at the soldiers. I told them to keep pressuring them, I'm going to go get Varen. I grabbed Varen's wrist and started to drag it behind the boxes. He finally woke up and said "let's fuck 'em up" I handed Varen my only spare gun which was my pistol. We all kept shooting at the Flokyoks and when ever we got an opening we would get closer to the open shuttle. I told everyone to get ready to sprint for the shuttle. I threw a grenade and when it blew up All of us started to run at the shuttle and get into it. Me and Scarecrow were waiting for everyone else to get in. He told me to get in first, I started to climb and when Scarecrow was getting in he got shot in the shoulder blade. I jumped back down and picked him up on my shoulder and gave him to Varen and jumped in the ship and McLauson started up the ship and after a minute of waiting the shuttle finally flew off. Once we were away from the Green horse, we somewhat got a sigh of relief.
Shawn tapped my back and told me to turn around. I wash I didn't because the Green horse was firing up it's main gun to shoot us down. I told Chris to get the fuck out of here before that thing fucking rips us apart! He said he's going as fast as he can. When the green horse shot the first laser I yelled at Chris to fucking move! He just barely moved out of the way. Another laser after another, we were just barely dodging them. the sixth laser finally hit our ship, not completely destroying it but it was enough to cause us to go flying at Gado. Chris yelled "Brace for Impact!" The next thing I knew we crashed. I woke up next to everyone in the med bay in the Command base. I was so relieved. I got up and went to go check on everyone else. When I walked up to the doctor that was attending to Scarecrow, he told me that he was paralyzed in the spine. Apparently the bullet must have sent a wave through his back, breaking his spine.
The doctor told me that he might not be able to be in action ever again. It was just a possibility. If that is the case, then we are down to one Zeta member left. Shawn walked up by me and told me that Chief Bamaeso would like to see me in the main Command building. When I walked up to him he told me that since Chris is still not suitable to be the leader of Zeta...That Zeta is being taken apart. Chris McLauson will be leading a new squad of Echo. He heard that Joe Mclon might not be able to fight anymore. Scarecrow was also here by retired. Finally he told me that Whenever I'm ready, to get as many troops as I needed and go and take out Omega base...
