Outside of the Church of Punk’s fences, before a service, a bald-headed man is seen attempting to gain entry. He is wearing a white jacket, black, tight skinny jeans, and a belt with a skull belt buckle.

“Repeat your name into the microphone, sir.” The guard on the speaker system hooked to the fence says.
“Joseph Mercury.” The man in the white jacket obliges, visually agitated.
“You’re not on the list of early access. I’m going to have to..” The man stops and a verbal skirmish can be heard in the background. Words like “who’s out there” and “let him in”

“Sir,” the guard begins to speak again, “I’m extremely sorry for the ignorant moron I am. You may pass.” The fence opens slowly.

Mercury walks through and up a long narrow path, sort of like a side-walk but smoother and clearer. He looks around and admires the outside, with a lightning bolt statue, a water fountain, and beautiful trees and bushes. He walks in, looking around, before slowly being greeted by none other than Luke Gallows.

“Hello, Joseph.” Luke kindly shakes his hand and leads him towards the back. “Punk has been expecting you, and if you’ll personally allow me to do so, I’d like to apologize for the wrong doing that happened to you a minute ago. Nothing like that will happen at this Church again, I assure you.”

“It’s fine, really.” Joseph has a hint of doubt about the place in his mind but manages to hide it well, as he walks into Punk’s office.

“Joseph! I’ve been expecting you. You know, I never thought I’d have you in my humble home, the place where people come to honor the best in the world not only in that ring but everywhere else too.” Punk smiled and embraced Joseph slowly.

“Yeah, good to see you too..Why is everyone calling me Joseph?” Joseph pondered.
“Guess it fits more of a church like atmosphere.” Punk suggested.
“True, can I ask you something? Not to diss on you or anything..but you’re not god.” Joseph looked into Punk’s eyes, concerned.

“Ah, Joseph. See, I’m the BEST in the world. At everything I do. Whether it be wrestling, promos, running, keeping in shape, sex,” Punk stops and picks up a picture of Ann Thraxx, winks, and then does the same with a picture of Serena, “and well, everything else. I’m even the best at staying alive. Nothing can kill me, Joseph. Would you agree?”

“Well, so far, yes..” Joseph was trying to support his friend as best he could, but there was still that hint of doubt nagging at him ever so slightly in the back of his head.
“Then, here is what I want you to do. Be my disciple. Follow me, for, not only do you realize how great I am, they shall too soon enough. Ann Thraxx soon too, soon enough. Because Joseph, I saved you from a drug addiction, from a foreclosure that was coming down upon you..” Punk stops and grins, “What human does that?”

“You do have some good points.. Most humans are greedy..” Joseph could feel the doubt slipping away.
“All I want is to save poor, diluted Ann, but she keeps refuting me and slipping away every time I get her closer and closer to redemption Joseph! How ever so demoralizing.. But this Monday, I’ll force her into joining the Church of Punk, and save her! But I need another disciple..Joseph, will you be that disciple?”

“Fine. But know this Punk, I’m doing this as a return favor. I don’t doubt your great..but a god..” Joseph fumbled around with the idea in his head.. It did make a lot of sense to him.

“Denial is the path to hatred, Joseph.” Punk stopped, looked beyond Joseph, and saw a bald-headed woman looking into the room. “Well, look who’s back.”
“I’m sorry.” Serena entered the room, tears flowing like a waterfall, heart heavy in her chest. “You were right.. I need you more than you need me. Even if I disagree with some of this.. You are better than any man I’ve ever come to know.”

“Welcome back to the only place you’ve ever been accepted. Don’t leave again.” Punk giggled to himself as he embraced Serena. He motioned for Luke and Joseph to join in the hug, and they obliged. The scene faded away to all four of them embracing, with Punk smiling unknowingly to them.
