As the camera turns on, Grayson Stinger is shown sitting at the breakfast bar of his house, empty bottles of alcohol laying everywhere. Stinger appears distraught, tear streaks down his face, his hair unkempt, and lounging around in a stained white shirt and sweatpants. He sighs and looks down into the half empty bottle in his hand.

I...I was going to turn this camera on and respond to you about what you plan to do to me at Madness, and make some threats of my own. But.....

Stinger drains the bottle and observes it pensively. Without warning, he turns in his chair and flings the bottle at the marble counter behind him, smashing the bottle on impact. He then runs his hands through his hair and grabs on tight.

She never did anything to hurt anyone. She always gave everything she had to everyone else. It was never about her, only about what she could do to help other people. She would have given you the clothes of her back if she thought you needed them. And they killed her for the pennies in her pocket. They killed her for the silver on her wrist.

Stinger gazes up into the camera, fighting back tears

My mother only ever wanted what was best for me. She supported me through everything, because she loved to see me happy. She loved to see me smile. And now she's gone. The woman who caught me after every fall is gone. And she took my heart with her.

I remember the last words I spoke to her last night...I told her that I had finally gotten a match again. That I was ready to step foot back into the ring again and use my God given talents for good. She called everyone she knew, telling them. Telling them to tune in to Madness. Telling them how proud she was of her baby boy. Telling them that she couldn't volunteer that night because she was going to be front and center to watch him perform. That chair will remain empty that night...and I will be returning home from Madness that night to bury my mother the next day.

Look, I know that I'm supposed to sit here and tell you that I will win and that I'm better than you. I'm supposed to smirk into the camera and tell you that no matter how hard you try, you just don't match up to me. I'm supposed to say that all that matters is winning and destroying you in the center of the ring. But that doesn't matter to me now.

I know we're not friends. I know you don't owe me anything. But to let you onto a little secret, my mom loved each and every one of you as if you were her children. And she wouldn't hate you or even be mad if you beat me. She would only be upset if we didn't perform the way she knew we could.

So, at Madness, I only ask that you put everything you got into this match. Because you can be certain that I am leaving every ounce of me in that ring. Because that's all my momma ever asked me to do.
